reallly? How did I know it was quite a difference.... Or are you teasing me?;) But that is quite a difference, were you expecting a littly?
No teasing honestmaybe someone else with 2 girls. Wasnt really expecting a big difference, they told me DD1 was going to be a big baby but I had high BP and signs of pre eclampsia so dont know if that made a difference. Second labour was much easier tho so dont worry too much about it

Hi Tara
BM is having neighbour troubles, everyone is going to the post office on Monday except me, and we've all had our tea. Oh, and we don't mind newbies posting lots, so long as they don't expect us all to keep up with everything. That's about it I think!
Oh - what happened with your friend (tell me to bog off if you like, I know I'm being nosey!)Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Baby swimwear, the school Katie swims with insist on a swim nappy topped with one of these, topped with one of these if the water is a bit chilly, they also do these for tinies.
It just helps prevent leakages which can lead to the pool being closed for cleaning.
:hello: Tara.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Aww thanks everyone, why the post office???
My friend is still struggling, part of the reason I've not been on as I've been spending all day with her then trying to catch up on house and stuff in the evenings, all I can do really. Yesterday I had a really bad night with Maddy so asked if she could run kids to school in her car. She went up to him in bed and asked him to watch the baby for 10mins, answer 'why couldn't she take him'. Was pouring with rain, answer 'so!' !!!!!!!!!!!!Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

My favourite thing to have is satay veg, but I'm still avoiding peanuts, so no satay for me. The first thing I'm going to do when Izzy's stops breastfeeding is order satay veg (I would say a pad thai, but our scrummy thai place is gone... there is a new one, but we've not tried it yet - having a baby has put a stop to our restaurant visiting ways)
I love deep fried beancurd. I particularly love the way they do it at Wagamamas. Do you eat much tofu? Have you ever tried it mushed up and fried with spices and veggies, kind of a tofu version of scrambled egg? It is nom, nom.
Can I be nebby(thanks for that word, Elle, never heard it before you used it one here) and ask why you're avoiding peanuts? I'm a nut fiend and would find it so hard!
Well, I feel a little less stressed as we just had a mini-breakthrough. LO woke up in his cot, we put his glow seahorse on and he re-settled himself. First time ever, we usually have to rock him to sleep (although sometimes only for a minute or two). So whoever recommended the glow seahorse (squishy, I think), thank you, thank you, thank you!
Squishy- I also wanted to say how sorry I am for your friends loss. I cannot imagine what they are going through and it must be the most heart-breaking thing in the world. Some friends of OH's lost their baby half an hour after he was born when I was pregnant with LO and I still find it really hard to know what to say to them. They have coped amazingly well though, and are now trying for another one which I think shows their strength. I hope your friends are able to find similar strength in time.

Evening all
I am trying to catch up but I am copying my entire lappy contents to an external hard-drive at the same time so everything is a little slow.
We went out to a gig last night whilst MIL looked after Benjamin and neice (13) at ours. We had lots of fun but I got a bit stressy at 1.30am this morning when MIL, SIL and BIL were still sat drinking in my living room!!!
Mum and dad came this morning to look after the boys whilst I went to the hospital for an ultrasound scan. Doc had sent me to see if I had gallstones, am pleased to report that I don't! That is the 5th ultrasound I have had in 18 months in 4 different parts of the hospital :money: getting my money out of the NHSmaybe that is why I have a jelly belly
Off to catch up, hope everyone is well.

Edit - I tried the glow worm with Benjamin this evening. I don't think it is for us - he just laughed at it, held it really close to his face so his face lit up and danced to the music LOL!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
