Chris I'm going to be honest I don't know, however can I suggest you contact your JCP enquiry line, as some people have found out myself included it's not always automatic.I'm on income-based JSA and receive Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit, does that qualify as a disability premium to trigger the cold weather payment?
ETA: There has been two payments of CWP in my area and according to the directgov website, payment should be automatic but I've received nothing. :^(
According to this post, I should have received CWP.
You will be entitled to a cold weather payment if you get Income Support or income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance for at least one day during the period of cold weather and:
- you get an extra amount for disability or for being over 60 and you don't live in a care home.

YOU SHOULD CHECK DIRECT GOV postcode checker as your postcode not comin up with anything on there i suppose we will all have to just freeze an maybe get 25 pound one day by surprise

we should start a petition on downing st for cold weather payments to be done on actual cities an not weather stations :T:T:T
yes i was actully thinking of starting a petition cos its been - temps here for a few days now but looking on the crosby weather stations temps its sayin 1o for today and tomoroow??0 -
:rolleyes::rolleyes: Told you they would remove, shame they didn't bother to leave the rest of it!
But why remove it? It was beneficial to a lot of people! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
