Just rang that number you gave Geoff...it's for Stockport or something!

But they did give info and said that those receiving the disability for a child through CTC are tending to be the last hard copy scan things coming through and have been on average over 2 weeks (or words to that effect) later after the trigger to come through (I think to them, not sure on that one).

Edit - I'm miles and miles and miles from Stockport, I'm in Suffolk so they gave me the number for the closest one to me...which was the number I called yesterday.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

How are those on benefit but not with a qualifying child under 5, disabled child, etc supposed to meet the extra costs of heating our homes? My area has 4 triggers and I am on Income Support as a lone parent with 3 children aged 9 - 14 years. My house needs to be heated as well, 2 of my children aren't back to school until Monday 11th.

Will I be entitled to any additional payments?
    NO
hi i live in london and in receipt of income and still had no payments as of yet any ideas ???? xxx
Does your IS have a disability premium?

Adult working tax credit with disability element. Does this qualify? So confused. Not pension age, no children just working tax (cant get to work today) DLA but know that doesnt count re cold weather payments.
NO as you need a qualifying benefit eg IS or JSA.
