Was directed to 0845 600 1506 ( I am in Scotland). I receive IS and Disabled child premium in CTC. Lady on phone says I qualify for the 3 cwp triggers, but payments slow due to the volume. First one triggered on 22nd Dec.

  • yes but dis premiums family prems etc are part of income support not dla you need dla to quallify for sdp but not other premiums.

As part of my Income Support, I get Carers Premium, which is not a qualifying benefit.

All the disabled child premiums are now part of Child Tax Credit.

So which ever way you look at it, when there are disabled children in the house aged over 5, DLA gives the Premium which is on CTC, and gives the entitlement for CWP.

    DX, tell me I'm right??

Your carers premium is still classed as IS, and you are correct since CTC was introduced your children are no longer on your IS claim so your disablility premium goes onto CTC.

In others words lol yes you're right.
