several people have been on here who come under crosby and they havent been triggered either, bit odd if you ask me, i cant see anywhere in the uk over the last two weeks who hasnt had it cold enough to trigger.

Crosby is on the coast, so the salt air stops it from freezing from what I have been told.

I just called DWP about when im getting my other payment and was told that after they get a trigger then the weekend after that they do a full scan of claims to work out who gets them and then they are paid so i have got another one due so she said the scan would be done this weekend and then payment sent to bank early next week so would hit bank end of next week.

Ok, thanks, I checked my account today and 1 payment is showing, and my postcode says 2 triggers, so will wait for the second then, does it depend how far apart the triggers were as to when the payment goes in?

one will follow the other, each trigger is for a seven day period, so assume if you have one in 7 days the next goes in.

i wonder if the gov will give us another £60 bonus now from dla, many of you who got it last year dont seem to realise yes it was a bonus, it was from the gove to help vulnerable people to pay fuel bills, yes it was a one off but we hadnt had temps like this last time. i did ask dla but they said they had heard nothing but that was before xmas, it was them who explained to me what that bonus was actually for, be interesting to see if they do another one.

Spoke to Income Support at my BDC this morning.

Yet again, silly answers as to why I'm not receiving payments, and I have to wait until they have a list at the end of January, and see if I'm on the list.
Well, my neighbours have their letters and payments, and I'm sill waiting.

I'd actually like to buy some coal while it's blooming freezing, at this rate, I'll be buying it at summer prices.
