Right we checked the account and still nothing of the 3 triggered payments from up to Nov to Dec 09.....

Tried ringing as well, and having trouble getting through, we waited and waited then cut off........, am wondering though they may be short staffed due to this heavy snow.

did you ring income support?, its that dep that deal with them?

Yes, I spoke to Income support.

I know my postcode has had 2 triggers. 23rd Dec and 5th Jan.
My next door neighbour has had their letter and payment.

IS said some payments will have to be done clerically.
I will have to assume mine will be like that, as the Income support is in my name, but the DLA, which is my qualifying route, is in the names of my children.

Really it should not be this complicated.

  • To check the current temperature at your nearest weather station:

    Go to https://www.weatheronline.co.uk
Put your postcode (include the space!) in the green 'City and Postcode Forecasts' box which is situatedin the centre of the page.
This will bring up a forecast with the area stated above. On the right hand side there are a list of options listed 'Cities' with 'Forecast' highlighted in green. Click on 'current weather' which is the next option down.

You can then choose between hourly and 6 hourly temperature readings as well as choosing oC or F.

According to ours, it hasn't dropped below zero despite the snow and ice. It must be the heat from the busy air base it's situated on!

(we fall under the same weather station as other postcodes who have been activated to receive payments, how does that work?!)

Corrected to include link due to my poo typing. You can also search the history, click the history button on the cities link and select the dates.

it was paid roughly jan 09 the 60, you should contact them if you were in receipt of hrm at that point you should have had it.
  • Apologies if this has already been posted but the DWP postcode search is back up and running on their site.
