If this is the case then maybe having a wee word with your MP about it ;) might be beneficial. The DWP can't stick up a postcode checker and it states 4 and then they only pay out 1.

I am hesitant as my MP is George Osbourne, a "compassionate conservative" - an oxymoron. The basic tenet is people should be responsible for themselves (which is the PC version of "don't expect us to help you")

I'm getting stressed about the conservatives getting into power. Their idea welfare reforms are going to cause misery for a lot of people. The cons are adapting "Work for Dole" from AU - which means you will be exploited as cheap labour instead of being provided with genuine jobs, while tax breaks are provided for the richest members of society.

People complain about New Labour.. but most of the problem we face to day are a result of Thatcher. [Who actually once said that the homeless should not feel the government should help them being housed... after greatly increasing the homelessness problem by putting millions out of work.]

So I'm going to go hutning for food tonight in the bins outside M&S (who throw away perfectly good food) just hope there's no rat poison in there and I don't get arrested. This may be my last post for a while.

By the way.. if we are forced to do community service... what punishment will they give to criminals instead.. since they are currently doing that??
  • I'm hoping/half expecting my final CWP to go into my account tommorow (Wednesday).

    Is anybody else?

Wednesday has been the 'usual' day they've paid them to me.
    Oh what's the bloody point...?

I keep hoping, get all excited and then nothing...but at least my heating should be working tomorrow (yep, the part is in!).
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
  • I hope you get it tomorrow as well Sue......I know You've been waiting all month!

Has anyone in Liverpool had a payment yet?

Nope ive not had one, the people in the next village (halfway down my road on my street) have had three there is a small school that separates us and they have a different post code to us yet we will just be getting the one because our postcode is WA12 (temp taken at Crosby) and theirs is WA13. It must of been much much colder on their side of the road... im so mad

There have been 2 triggers where I live, the first payment took 2 weeks to appear in the bank. The last trigger was either the 6th or 8th of Jan and I've just checked my bank account now and it is there so it took between 12 and 14 days.
  • My 3rd and last payment has gone into account this morning.
