Nothing here in Huddersfield either! I'm due to get three. The last time I rang I was told that it would be last Friday. Ha. I haven't rung since as I assume my council are having the same issues as mentioned here ... might have to chase them up about it soon though.

I'm being told that everyone (in my area) should be in payment by the end of the month and to be patient.

Good thing I am a very patient person and my immediate problem with feeding the gas monster has been temp stopped (due to my central heating going kaput! Using electric portable heating and electric is weekly by standing order and no prepayment meter) otherwise I would be very desperate indeed by now.

Dread to think what my electric statement will say though as the heating I have had to use whilst my central heating is kaput is not cheap to say the least! Needs must as they say though, I needed to get some heat in here and the heaters were all I could borrow off friends and family.

im due 4 CWPs and finally got 1 today! just 3 more to go! if they can pay 1 in, why cant they just pay them all in at once, still not complaining as now i can have my heatin on extra! yeah!

i recieved my last cold weather payment out of 3 2day, but accoring to the direct.gov post code checker on the 8th of jan i was due 3 and only got it today, i have checked the site agin today to see if we are due anymore which i am not but it has a little message at the bottom now which wasnt there b4 which states:

Please bear in mind that you should not expect payment immediately. It normally takes up to 12 days to process a payment.

how can that be when they where saying the other week that the computer systems auto send them out lol

They must have got their acts together. Took about a week for this final one to reach my account. Hope you're all as lucky.

i think they normally go in on wednesdays. last year i got them on wednesdays also. i rang bak today to find out wen ill get my other 3, she said they could be anytime, she sounded so lazy she wouldnt even check the computer to see if there were any more info. why are vthey so lazy when that is there job! i feel sorry for the people who still have not got any, i just want my others now. its a joke. has any1 out there got theres on a day other than wednesday? xx
