    Gorgeous esmer!

Well done everyone else, it's all coming right down to it now!! My last parcel arrived today, I've been tracking it obsessively for days now and here it is, all wrapped up under the tree. Last few bits to buy are eggs, milk and veg, oh and I've still not bought puff pastry but probably don't need to because we're having beef not chicken and the pastry was for the leftovers.

Oooh, and thanks for that recipe fedup :D

    Hello all :j

elysia - don't fret about family rows...........if you knew about those me and my brother have had -and still do.....well I'll not go down that route.......lol You can choose your friends, but not your family..........lot to be said for that I think.

junior..........sorry to hear about your mum..........consider prayer said:A and hugs (((:o)) to both of you.

fedup -take it easy otherwise you'll not be able to enjoy all your efforts.

esmer - sorry about your heating -keep worrying about ours but I do that every year especially when there's a holiday due..............keep baking.....that'll keep you warm............:)

Well, phoned parcel folk - again ! Nice lady I got through to first time !! She said parcels should be here tomorrow and she's made a note for them to be delivered later on in the day and not their usual 8am !! (don't know when I last got up at that time!!) and to wait and give us time to get to the door.
OH got taxi into town today to have hair cut and beard trimmed -feels a bit more ''normal'' he says.

sarah - thanks but I found number for PALS -was just going to ring them when OH came back and he'll got all peculiar if he thinks I'm complaining since he insists I'm not to.........so have to do it on the quiet.
He's a lot better in himself now but doesn't sleep very well. Suggested he get stronger pain killers but he says no...........honest......men !!

Just bit more shopping to get -frozen sausage rolls and stuff (if they've not sold out.............lol) if they have, well tough. Remind me to be more organised next year and get food about August I think.................lol
My friend was coming over yesterday to exchange pressies but she's not well so we're having Christmas whenever suits us both...........oh what a bonus............extra christmas with her and another with eldest son and family..............:T
Who says it has to be Dec.25th !!

Take care all and stay safe...........very slippy out there:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Not long in my house. If you want them for xmas, pop them in the freezer (undecorated)

And bring them out the morning you need them.

I think I will make my carrot cake muffins, and some mince and tatties, and some soup, that will keep me warm. Mum has Natasha, and if I dont get it fixed will need to get to homebase and get an oil filled radiator to take the chill off.

Will one heater be enough ? Are you insured ? Can someone fix it for you s.a.p.? Sorry -bombarding you with questions when you need it least.Oh lor............wish I could help you...........I do feel for you..........I'm cold and thats with the heating on !!
You got fleece blankets and stuff to snuggle under ?
That would help................plus half a dozen cats to sit round you and keep you warm..............:)

Looked at weather on bbc and think it looks as it it might warm up next week..............maybe ?? I wonder. Bless you esmer............keep cooking:)

    Hi all

Fantastic cupcakes - they are out of this world.

Hope your heating gets fixed soon.

Elysia, I think you asked about the stuffing - this is the first year I'm just doing it out of the pack can't be bothered to do anything else, usually its with sausagement etc then made into balls.

Clare - have a fantastic time!

Fedup - good luck with your to-do list.

Thanks guys, thankfully Im sandwiched between two flats, so its not FREEEZING. I have closed all the blinds and curtains. The Oven is doing a grand job lol, the oil heater has taken the chill off the lounge, so once dinner is ready I can sit in there with my fleece blanket and watch some TV. Natasha is at grans, and her heating is back on, seemed the flow pipe out side was frozen. so three kettles of hot water later and its defrosted. Im hoping thats not what is up with mine as I cant very will defrost mine. Im in a council flat so they fix it, and im on the list. Not sure how late they come. I will phone them again after my dinner.
