    hi

Thanks fedup re the stuffing (that sounds funny LOL)

Junior J, are there any stomach problems too for your mum? It might not be what she fears. Years ago I used to have stomach upsets, pain in my arms, tinglng, weird pain in my legs, exhaustion and terrible dizziness, it was awful if I was out. It used to feel like flu and went on for months. Turned out to be an allergy.

Junior - I feel horrible now, moaning and groaning like I did. Fingers crossed that your mum is ok.

Anglea - what stuffing do you usually do then?

Esmer - did you chocolate set? I hope so. :)

Legendmum - have fun with all those sprinkles, and when you've done, send me and junior one - we need cheering up :)

    Thanks JulieJim. xxx

Fedup - I'm glad you're feeling a little bit better.

    Elysia - (((Hugs)))

Scattymam - So Sorry to here your news, my love and thoughts to you and your family

Junior - (((Hugs))) and best wishes for both you and your Mum.

Mary - RE Pals, check with your Local NHS Trust, I know the PALs Department at my work up here is not based in any of the hospitals they are at the main Trust Offices, so I would check with them, if you ring the main number for your Trust they should put you through or at least give you the number, alternatively check on your local Trust's Website all departments should be listed on there, HTH.

Well I got some more wrapping done yesterday, and got through all my washing.

I also managed to make my Bags of Silver for the table on Christmas day.

I had a good clean out upstairs just need to potter about this week and finish of last of wrapping oooh and my last food shop on Thursday and then I'm done :j.

Off to work this morning, and need to nip into wilkinsons, need a large gift bag as I have run out

    Take Care Everyone

Morning everyone, seems like the white stuff being around has made the world stop, OH still hasnt got back from work, been there since Sunday, more snow forecast for this afternoon evening, so they have asked him to stay on again so he is there to work tonight. Said he will definitely try to get home tomorrow morning as he is off then till Christmas eve. Hes on days then Fri Sat and Sun.

I can well understand how everyones getting a bit fed up, I feel trapped in doors as well, not that I need to get anything although we have nearly run out of bread but might be enough left to use as toast for lunch today. Youngest daughter and myself have both got sore throats, not bad ones but hoping they dont come to something worse. Yesterday we both had a bit of a temperature, plus I had the Grandchildren round so we were quite busy and I just wanted to lay down on the sofa under my duvet but didnt manage it. Feel a bit better today, just the throat a bit sore. Hoping youngest daughter is feeling a bit better too as she has a lot of art homework to get done during the holidays and the days are whizzing past. May be she can get down to the corner shop and see if they have any bread.

Junior - hope your Mum is ok, its the waiting thats worse isnt it when waiting for the results of the blood tests. Fingers crossed for you and hope you are feeling a bit better yourself xx

Elysia - thinking of you as well, funny isnt it, we have all dreamed of having snow at Christmas and having a white Christmas but now its here we dont want it lol. I just wish it would all go away.

Off to get a hot drink, I have a duvet over me and the fire on and still feel cold. Catch you all later xx

  • Morning all,

Sorry not yet had time to catch up, and as i'm on snow watch, I wanted to post just incase I had to rush off.

Friday - DD's birthday - gathering didn't happen due to the snow!! Booo.
Saturday - made it to my parents in the snow, had belated birthday gathering, and a small christmas with brother's girlfriend.
Sunday - didn't go anywhere but dug out my car (been using hubbys). Then we heard that hubbys paretns weren't coming down for Christmas due to his nan being too ill to travel from London. So (weather permitting!!) we're off to London tomorrow night until Christmas eve! PLEASE don't snow any more evil weather.....
Today - I'm in work!! Managed to get here. Normal 40/45 min drive took just over an hour so not too bad, but already people near home are saying there's snow starting......so I might be off again soon!
And lets not even talk about the avon order that was supposed to come on Friday!!!

Anyway, just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas just incase I don't get a chance to get back on! You've all been wonderful and I can't wait to do it all again next year!!! Big love and hugs to you all and an extra squeeze to those who really need it. Take care everyone. Be safe!!

And exactly the same from me to you Clare and everyone else on here too :D

As for me felt a bit better and now feel a bit worse again

Anyway have wrapped up 2 Christmas Eve hampers with Pjs, a fluffy new towel, a scented candle and some bath and shower products. Wrapped them up in paper this year as not enough right shaped boxes or baskets. Used Aldi's paper which is great quality - will get some more of this next year

Just popping on here to write the tag for the hampers

Sorted out the preserves and chutneys for gifts, blackberry and apple gin and winter fruit compote and granola

-11c here this morning first thing! -8 now so still very cold. Trying to keep wrapped up warm and cosy and have plenty of hot drinks

    Hope you all are too
