I've done everything except give out local cards and last minute veg and alcohol shopping, will be sending DS to do those as very slippery and too heavy for me. Luckily weeks back got frozen veg and have some mulled wine in case it get's any worse and he can't go.
Snap - only a few drops of booze to buy and a few things like fruit juice and pop left to get now - first thing Tues or Weds I reckon
Just deciding whether to make a parsnip and swede bake for a change which can be frozen and then defrosted and cooked on the big day - recipe in the Christmas Good Food and can use up some languishing veg in the bottom of the fridge and be turned into something tasty and reheated for leftoversfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Well thats it all wrapping done, every card made and waiting the big man coming apart from fresh veg, (got frozen in just in case) with weather, but have to be truthful, full marks to council (kirklees), spot on witht he gritters and OH and neighbour digging out to main road. Other neighbour has two 20 year old boys in and wont lift a shovel, but they the 1st to drive on it everyday. :mad: Theres some right lazy people about, they wait for us to clear it then go out, about 70 metres in total......

Mary - I know how you feel with the parcel me , rufus have had trouble too. They`re not knocking doors as they`re in such an hurry. They dropping cards everywhere as they make more money that way.....
I went up the parcel depot of DHL, they are the most ignorant people i ever met, they dont serve you they total ignore you. I phoned them while i was stood in there and she answered and I said can you see the lady in the green coat, yes she said, i said well get over here and serve me....she served me in silience but i had stood there 20 minutes ringing bell , waving and calling them. I've had a horrible day - it's knocked at the christmassy stuff out of me. I'm fed up of being housebound. Im fed up as I didn't get a VIP slot in the next sale and to top it all off - had an arguement with sis. Ungrateful c*w (sis not me LOL)!!! Sorry for rant. I had it out with my brother today................. :rotfl: I have spent about 80.00 on his daughter, and he has got my dd a game (which I bought) and he has to pay me, and a pair of jammies. so a todal of 13.99!
Next - if it makes you feel better, quality of clothes made this year have been pants! I have tookmore back than I have kept!
I have also been stuck in today, watching the snow fall.

Hi everyone sorry I have been missing been very busy with this and that. Plus my poor mum didn't tell me she was having funny sensations in arms and legs , numbness , tingling and dizzy spells. I knew she was spending a lot of time of bed telling me she just had vertigo felt unwell ect she told me she didnt tell me the truth because she was scared I couldn't;t cope (her mum my nan died of motor neuron disease) The doctor has been out and done test and bloods and will see her again Tuesday so please say a prayer she is my best friend! I couldn't live without her!
Anyway.. Work has been manic with doing the nativity at local church which went very well. Also went on works do yesterday but whilst out got a migraine and it ruin my evening , went back to my friends house (i was staying at) early and puked my guts up and was in bad pain until i fell asleep the early hours.. we have had quite a bit of snow we are due more but fingers cross that does not happen I am sick of the white stuff!
Done more wrapping tonight.. busy week this week but will hopefully be on soon!
