Hi everyone. I've been here off and on today. I was hoping DD would feel better today, but all she's wanted all day is cuddles. Inbetween I've had to sort DD1 out too - all I get all day long is - I'm bored. What can I do? Well she won't do housework or tidy her room, so I got her making mince pies and baking batches of cupcakes. They're not as pretty and yours Susan and Esmer, but they taste nice.

Good news too, my Boots OOTW (x2) arrived, I found my phone that I lost 6 months ago, and got a VIP slot in the Next sale (finally). I'm having a go on the lottery next. :rotfl:

ARGH!!! Seriously bad day! Only a quick message!Went down my mothers, 30 miles away, early so to avoid heavy snow predicted! On way home was speeding and drove past a police speed camera van!!!! OK shouldnt have been speeding but was overtaking a lorry on dual carriageway was doing just over 70mph!Get into house DS calls from kitchen Mummy water!? I run to kitchen to find boiler pouring water all over the floor in my microwave over my cupcakes! Took me 6 towels to clean up and buckets under boiler until man came!!! Man said boiler outside pipes were done by a hambone and due to pipes outside frozen the water couldnt go anywhere!!! Well it could all over my bloody kitchen!!! No heating or hot water till 6pm but lucky he managed to fix it and dry it out! Then the computer only starts playing up and I dont know whats wrong!!! Think its a virus but does allow me on certain pages but no email ebay or facebook!!! So thats my 3! Now I have to try and get someone to sort this laptop and would love it before christmas but think I am dreaming! So no cupcakes for me especially after all that effort! Microwave must be kaput as water was inside it too! Dont wanna risk trying to switch it on and worktop got so wet its not looking good!! Now I have to phone housing association tomorrow and somehow get them to replace microwave as bloke says boiler is their responsibility>? Oh I really need a drink!!! Shame no wine in the fridge!!! Bed I think and maybe all will look better tomorrow! Will catch up on posts when I can!!! Hope everyone is well! xxxxSORRY I lied when I said quick post!!! xx

Yeah its not too bad actually but still early days!! Had a couple of bad days.....mega row with DH on Sunday but all sorted now!!! All over something stupid!! lol Nearly finished the monkeys and just got hampers to make up then on with the cooking! Making cupcakes on Thurs and a Trifle for DN on Friday (she can never make it to taste like mine!!). All the rest of food will be done on the days needed. xxx

I made shortbread stars tonight. Just to take out my ganache and to make truffles and all my baked goods are made.

Anybody got a GOOD FUDGE recipe. I have White chocolate and condensed milk? Not seen any online that I liked.

Hope your all keeping warm, I had a toasty bath tonight and then gave my wee toes a pamper treatment. :T

so glad you got it fixed! I waited 24hrs to get mine fixed, im only just defrosting.

Do you have virus software? Spyware on your pc?

If you do, Boot up the laptop and run a FULL Virus software, leave it to do its job. IF you have spyware, then please do the same.

If you dont have either then download the free one Martin advertises.

What Version of IE do you have and what version of Windows are you running.

Oh you have all guessed..................... I work in IT for my sins. :rotfl:
