Anything you like! A few people have spray painted plastic plant pots gold. I bought little gold star shaped bowls from Sainsburys £1.99 for 4, but they will keep for years.

Hobbycraft sell little gold buckets too, if you wanted something like that. Last year I used a drinking glass, I filled it, wrapped it in cellophane and tied it with gold ribbon - it looked just as nice. :D

    I hope this helps.

Ta. I've got all those ingredients in my fridge right now. I may have a go over the weekend.

Have you ever seen a recipe for lemon cheese btw?

Apparently (according to google) Lemon curd is also known as lemon cheese, but I found a recipe which uses curds - which would be more relevant to the name 'cheese'.

Not tried it of course, so I can't recommend it. Link

    Of course I can

On Monday I had a chat with the Dr about my symptoms, then he decided on what to test for, then the nurse stuck on 16 patches on containing 10 tests plus another 4 on my back, marked with marker pen.

Then you have to keep your back dry, so no baths or showers and avoid sport etc

Go back for a review and to see if have had any reactions on Wed then a final review on Friday to see if have any further reactions and to discuss outcomes

Its been a very thorough test so far and good to find out what may be causing this at long last

    HTH

Avoiding sport, I'm so upset!!!, oh heck there on for 5 days, I had allery testing when I was about 11, and vageluy in being on your arms it was only for 15mins - how times have changed!

Thank you for sharing, without sounding daft, knowing someone else and the in's ands outs etc - gives me an idea what to expect.

Hopefully that your get it sorted soon xx

I have finished wrapping the presents (bar Mums, dads, mine and Miss Hoodies), thou it worked out well as mum and dad have already got their xmas presents, they've had a camera and a coffee table, so just be £15 each on knick knacks - get them sorted next week.

Had christmas dinner at school today, it was nice, and free as I'm a govener, just so lucky that they put us in the school hall, don't think would have got my rear down on the kids benches.

Good news / bad news with OU results, The level 2 course, passed with flying colours, the level 1 only got 30 on the end assisgnment it needes to be 40, but I can resubmit - sounds daft but I;ve already done 3 x level 1 courses, 3 x level 2 and passed them all with flying colours.

Got the court officer ringing in the morning, so fingers crossed, then got to take presents down to school........ keep me out of trouble xx

Had a nice day out yesterday with my son, even though it was raining non stop and very cold. We went to a Cath Kidson shop to have a look at the fabrics, very nice shop, love all the patterns and things made by her. Whle shop full together was a bit over powering though, but still nice. Didnt buy anything as very expensive. Went to C and H store too, spent over an hour in there looking at the fabrics and all the craft stuff. Son bought his GF a nice sewing box to go with her sewing machine.

When I got home OH was out shopping, he came in and said he had finished his Christmas shopping as well now so we all done here. We just need to buy bread and milk next week and some sausage meat (yuk, I cant stand the feel of that, he can make his own stuffing).

Not going out now until Wednesday I dont think. OH is on nights today, Sat and Sun and then he will be asleep Monday. Not sure whether we will do anything Tuesday but Weds we are going up to meet his Bro and SIL for a bit of lunch and to take some flowers to the cemetary where is Nan is. Thursday we will probably just go up our town and get the little bits we need then he is working Friday right over the weekend.
