Good to see they arrived early Rufus - I hate it when you have to wait in all day.
Mum2one - usually they put drops on your skin that contain the most widely known allergens, and they see if you react to them - fedup had patches but I went with someone and they put liquid drops on their forearm. It must differ from place to place. I had the York intollerance testing and that was done by blood test (took about two weeks) Not allergic to anything but very intollerant to cashews, and mildly intollerant to dairy, vanilla, chicken and lentils. I laughed at first and said is that it? Then realised how much food has dairy in. OMG no chocolate  - I still eat it anyway (the dairy free stuff is YUK) and suffer for it, so that was a waste of almost £300.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Good Morning All, :j
It was my team dinner last night. IT was really nice, and I had Pate to start with, with oatcakes and a jelly with it. Then I just went for the turkey, with all the trimmings, we are having beef this year so it was nice to have turkey, im not a huge fan, find it dry, but this was lovely. Then me and friend shared a cheesecake and toffee pudding between us. Tummy was not happy later, I just ate TOO much in one sitting. :rotfl:
I also got stockings made, they have Mummy and Natasha on them, so Santa knows which one to put stuff into lol! They are RED, with Gold writing, and lovely fluffy white top, cant wait to see dd’s face.:T
Mum2one – thanks for the update on posting times
Toothfairy – I crave fat food when I get the cold. So your body was wanting FAT off the chips cause you have the cold coming on L
MSwan - Welcome to the thread, I joined later and have managed to get a lot done, and cant wait until Im more organised next year J
Sugarspun – Glad you have enjoyed your time with your parents
elysia2003- Thanks, I use disposable bags from Lakeland, I need to get the big disposables online. I use a STAR nozzle, not sure what size.
Mary – Hope you are both doing ok, and you can get everything sorted with NHS
I want to join to money making thread too J Would be good feeling to be money neutral.
I have a feeling I do not have enough Cello to wrap my presents up. I think I might see if the florist will sell me some. They can be weird though.
Hugs to all of you.
PS - Its snowing

There were fine once they were in the drink. The outside was a bit crispy to the touch (when I took them out of the packaging), but they were fine afterwards. I did notice they had gone a bit wrinkly, that's why I opened one to test it. As I say, it was fine, I had only made a few, so I'll just make them a bit closer to the time next year.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Esmer - You will be most welcome on the MM thread. I can't wait to get started for next year! :j
I ordered my nozzles and piping bags from ebay last night. I bought the tala ones with about eight different nozzles. I'm so excited. :j
I also bought some organza bags to wrap my beaded bracelets, earrings, bag charms and bookmarks in. I just hope they get here in time.
OH's day off today but I have to stay in with my poorly niece ( my sister and her Ex both at work). I'm so excitable today, the Christmas spirit has come and well and truly got me. :T:T:T. I'm going make DD1's sock monkey and some mince pies today. See you all later.

As I'm off sick today I decided to drag myself out with the dog to post the cards - job done, phew
Thought as I haven't eaten much of a meal this week due to feeling so ill I'd better put a stew on to cook before the meat went off - its in cooking now and will do for tea with dumplings which will be nice and then have some left over for another meal or 2
Off to freeze some other meat I chucked in the fridge last night after feeling so unwell to have other the Christmas period and not have to run to the shops on the bank holidays
Also have some veg that needs using up - leeks, celery and carrots - some used in the stew and thinking I might put a pan of soup on to cook and use some of these upfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Well Mince Pies went well apart from slight overspill due to filling first batch too much! Burnt my finger on hot mincemeat! Ouch! Question for you guys how do I package them for the in laws hamper and are they safe to keep from now till Christmas or should I freeze? Managed to leave 2 packets of chocolate raisens on a baking tray on top of the oven and they melted to mush they are now in the freezer was going to use for fudge so dont know now!
Just need to do shortbread stars, fudge and chocolate slabs and its snowing here!!! Doesnt look like it will stick though! Better go and do the washing up and check the dinner! I am kitchen queen today!
