Rufusdog - well done on being so organised

Legendmum - that sounds ideal as apresent and suit both sexes too. How about a couple of pots of gold as well, just for a surprise

Elysia - I have to say OH is wrapping the presents for me, but I`ve decided not to give him anymore to do as he makes the parcel as small as possible to save paper. And I like them to look bigger. He`ve even taken things out of boxes and kept the boxes in case the people want them....

Sugarspun - good luck with the tree

Mum2one - thanks for the flower tip, i`m off to try it OH as come back with 3 bunches , must have been BOGOF as he dont usually get that many

fedupand skint - i`m hoping to make cards as well, have all stuff out but keep getting side tracked, i made a start yesterday morning and havent made one

sarah - i cant believe the time you posted, do you ever sleep ....lol

Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income

Legendmum - I would add a big bag of cinema style popcorn - cheap and it bulks it out a bit.

Instead of a DVD, I would put a cheque into a card to the value of two cinema tickets (make sure you write what the money is to be spent on though). You could google a picture of a ticket and make your own card to put the cheque in.

    Hello all :j
Snow is starting to go but very icy on the pavements

Not done much today except birthday card for grandaughters 18th, couple of weather wallys and made little bags to put them in.
Still haven't finished off back door curtain :(

Went to bed last night and had a panic about when son comes.............need to put curtain rail up in the room they'll be in so I can hang curtains up..........check spare bedding (know I haven't got spare quilt and could always do with a spare so better get one) Need to try and work out if I can fit the double mattress in that room and bed for little grandson..............don't want him roaming in the middle of the night wondering where he is and falling down the stairs !
Don't know what to about dinner when they come......do we have a sort of ''christmas dinner'' ? Our lad here will expect christmas dinner on christmas day and no way can we buy two turkeys !
Oh lor..............I'm sure I'm creating problems where there aren't any.....................slap me someone quick !!

    Stuff still to do:
Write letters to go with few more cards
    Finish off door curtain
    Finish wrapping (2 friends I haven't started on yet:eek:)
Have good clear up................honest you wouldn't believe my house  In need of Kim and Aggie but don't think I could stand the embarrassment.....................lol:rotfl:
    Oh thats got me smiling...........................:)

    Sorry for winge.

susan -thanks for the snowmen quotes -sending No.3 to brother in Spain (currently showing off about his winter fuel allowance and not knowing what to spend it on )

esmer -thanks for the link...........I'll check your blog out as well.

Neighbours just been round and given me a cushion............lol Now she's had her house done up the colours wrong for her............I love it !

Hope you're all ok and keeping warm :)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hello everyone, things have been crazy in my little life , my days are still being eaten up with work , visiting Mollie then college work , the good news is hopefully she is allowed home some point later next week..

Managed to finish of my eldest Goddaughter today , she has a talking Michey mouse helicopter and 2 sets of ballerina p.js for Xmas!

The majority of Xmas shopping will be done after work on Thurs as its late night shopping then in our town.

Went on a hen night last night , lots to drink :o lots of dancing:p.

Got my friends little boy Joshua over night tonight and I am taking him to see Jack and the Bean stalk Xmas panto tomorrow. I do that every year with him (he is 5) and today me and him and my mum and brother put up the tree and decs which made things feel more Christmassy..

Anyway hope everyone is well! :) xx

i got a quick freaky xmas story..
Today dad goes to loft to get the decs out and comes down with the usual boxes.

We go through the decs and put them on the tree ect and find a bauble saying merry Christmas in 2005. lovely big one , however does not belong to us and we have not even seen it (we moved into this house October 05) so weird but what ever.. then we come across a angel with a fur rim round her skirt and tiara.. then we come across 4 lovely metal spring style bauble things.. so all that was freaky because we had never ever seen them and if they from the previous tennant why was there a used 2005 large xmas bauble when we moved in before xmas of 05... to top it off the furr around the angel matched 2 large thing sparkly strips of fur which had also found its way into our decs.. freaky or what lol?X

That is freaky!!! Glad im not living in your house, or maybes its a christmas ghost and just wanting gorgeous decorations out on show than in a dusty box............

We went to see Santa Claus today. There is a place that has a wee train and then you go through a darked out maze with various christmas scenes then you get to see Santa. DD loved it and said the train was AMAZING! about 25million times so she must have liked it. The place needs a spruce up, but the gifts the kids got were great!! A large 3d Jigsaw puzzle, a set of pencils in a tin and a puzzle book. :j She came home happy and tired, so much so she fell asleep on the couch at 6pm and I just carried her through to her room BLESS!

Im going to sit and watch X-Factor and get more xmas stuff done. I need to make up my hampers, but I think my boxes are too small and I dont know what im going to do

snow has nearly all gone, its just slush, ice and brown snow, not very nice at all! but there is more cold weather heading our way and we should have snow on Thu :(
