A friend needs a thankyou present.
I made her a nappy cake for her new daughter and she wants something similar for her mother to say thanks for helping her out. She does not do smellies. Loves chocolate and coffee so I suggested a choccy explosion bouquet thingy but she liked the cake idea. Any ideas on what to include.....I thought it seems a bit silly to do it in towels as there will be no smellies.
I do have a lrge cheap fleece throw from ASDA that I got for £2!!! Might use that as a base but she would like it to have a couple of layers!!!! Help.
Could you put the chocolates etc in a nice box and then wrap the fleece around the box some how and make it into one of those square cakes? I have seen some lovely ones done with towels which are only the one layer. May be a silk flower or two as decoration and a bit of pretty ribbon round the outside. Cant think how to make it into two layers without having two items the same to make each layer from. May be someone else would have a better idea, unless you could get a scarf the same colour for the top layer?
Hmm, off to have another think xx0 -

Im not feeling well, but am sure it wouldnt feel half as bad if my family wasnt driving me mad.And if My husband had not try to make his car do idiotic things, like swim with snow over its tyres.
Not very Christmass spirited today unfortunately.

Took Pip to see Santa and the toysoldier who was sending you through to Santa opened the curtain really quickly and scared Pip. Pip then cried and cried, wouldnt go anywhere near Santa, wouldnt take the present off of him, wouldnt wave bye bye and pretty much clung to OH for dear life!!! Photo is quite funny though LOL!
Popped into ELC but they didnt have what I was looking for. Just as well as when I looked online if you bought the happyland farm you got £5 off it and a £10 quad bike set free and if you bought the firestation you got £5 off it also and a £10 emergency vehicle set free. Free delivery if you spend over £50.

Could you not add a mug (for the coffee) or a mini Cafetière http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Cafetiere-3-cup-coffee-press-/110617587041?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Food_SM&hash=item19c1526d61 and use tea towels of some sort to replace the nappies??? Plain Waffle ones in white, cream or brown would look nice - or if you're lucky you might even find some fluffy ones in your colour scheme. Does her mum have a colour scheme in her kitchen that is different?? i.e. pink, red, green?Donna
