How about a scarf? Gloves? Chocolates in a posh box?

    Hello all :j
What a lot seems to be going on............lol
Thanks for the evans from grabbit (sorry can't remember who put it on now) but I can't seem to find anything there apart from a couple of rings for £1......??? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.
Still, think I've more or less got everything now apart from sweet shop stuff and some felt for gingerbread people and diaries to cover with some fabric. Oh and need to get some condoms for grandson..........lol Always get them as a sort of ''joke'' pressie............he'll be 18 this year and says ''don't forget Nan'' so I'd best not.............lol:rotfl:
So, Monday I'm off to get
    Cheap diaries,
ribbon to tie up shoe boxes, need 4 lots
    white marshmallows,
    strawberry string,
    flying saucers,
    choc lic,
6 bars of dairy milk to cover
and some cheapo choc to have a go at choc.spoons, felt for gingerbread men, (3)
    pva glue
2 prs white socks (OH thinks the pint of socks will look better with socks than our kitchen spongs.....lol)

Then it'll just be ''champagne'' and party bits for twins 18th party in a bag and silver chain for each.

I'd really like to empty the spare room this year and not have stuff left over like happened this year so being very rigid with what I get..........or trying to:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

They have MASSIVE boxes of Thorntons chocs in Tesco and CO-OP. Originally £11, down to £6 I think - if that's any help.

Afternoon everyone. Been a busy bee. I made some memory wire bracelets last night. DD2 was upstairs, she came down saw me and said could she make her own. :rotfl: Not sure what I should think about that! LOL. No, she really meant she wanted to her own multi coloured bead combinations. I was making the Christmas puddings out of card to make those packets of chocolates with. I looked at the time and it was 1.30 am. I'd been crafting since 6pm. Chocs look great though. :D

I can't remember who's MIL is difficult to buy for but loves reading and dogs.
Some suggestions. This one looks good and I have this one and this is the follow up. These are from Asda - they might be cheaper elsewhere. ;)
    I :heartpuls M.S.E.

ARGH my sewing machine is annoying the pants off me, it won't pick up the bottom thread  I have threaded and rethreaded and rethreaded and it just. will. not. pick it up!! I was hoping to make a little bag tonight , a prototype sort of deal so I can see how easy it would be.

I'm also  because I wanted to make and order a canvas from Snapfish and I can't print the image without half of it ending up on the panels on the edges.
