I have had a very stressful day trying to get Take That tickets online... Managed to get some finally so I am very pleased, only problem is I have to wait until July next year for the concert!
Done nothing Christmas related for ages but planning a trip to Dunelm tomorrow to get some bits and pieces, I know it might sound a bit sad, but I love it in there!! Am going to go while OH is at the football so I don't have anyone hurrying me
Going to order a few bits online for my dad and stepmum next week then I am mostly done apart from OH. Still putting some thought into that one.
Sounds like everyone has been busy, hope you're all having a lovely day.
Hi Cookie - I know exactly what you mean about Dunel Mill, I love the shop but OH doesnt like it so much, he doesnt mind walking round the bits like cushions and ready made stuff but as soon as I go to the fabrics and craft sections he disappears. Rufus xx0 -
Morning everyone
Didnt get on here yesterday as we went out to get a heater for my craft/spare room but out of stock so have reserved one in a different store to pick up tomorrow. Will be nice to have a bit of warmth up there when I am sewing.
Just as we were going out yesterday, knock on the door and it was my Half-Cost parcel. Good job we were still in. I had asked them to deliver it on Monday as I would be in all day then. Still it is here and I am very pleased although one of the packs of vests didnt come as out of stock but I only really needed two vests.
Have done up the pyjamas in cello and they look nice so thats two pairs of pyjamas for £1.99.
The two towels for my eldest daughter were really nice quality, quite thick. I made them into a sort of tall cake with the other bits and done it up in cello with some Christmas tinsel on it, looks nice. Will have to get a sack to put it in though to give it to her though as will be hard to wrap as its come out so big.
Got the photo paper as well so I'm off to make a wrapper for my Dad's chocolate bar. Will take a pic when its done.
Elysia - the new quilt is coming on fine. I have cut up most of my scrap bits into 1 and quarter inch strips and sewing them all together. I have made 5 panels so far, think I have enough for another 5 or 6 so wont be enough to make a whole quilt out of but I will keep them by and add to them as I go along until I have enough.0 -

I know what you mean Mum2one, I am the same, have got nearly everything except for some more bits for OH but getting a bit panicky now as the weeks are going by and money is so tight not really able to afford anything for him lol. He has two main presents but nothing else to go with them. Not many more pay days now till Xmas either. Have to get a couple more bits for youngest daughter which I might try to add on to the monthly shop week after next so can concentrate on him. Will just be dvds I think although he keeps adding things that he wants, dont know where he thinks I will get the money for it all. After shave is the latest and its a dear one, I have already spent over £120 on his two main presents together and this is what I usually spend on him total.0 -
I've sorted all my presents, I'm lucky that I only have to buy presents for 5 peopleSavings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0
