Maybe a handbag? Not like a proper one but just a little one so she feels more grown up or something. Erm, what about a jewellery set? Like a necklace and bracelet, they do some in Argos I think.

Hello all :j
esmer -love the sock monkey :T Well done.........I had a go couple of years back but couldn't get to grips with it at all............lol
Everyone is so busy and seems so organised..........I've done nothing today apart from sort through some paperwork then eldest son phoned and mentioned coming up for christmas with little grandson:eek: Eeek !! I'd love it but all of a sudden I had panic ! Need an extra bed...........(must get one of those z-bed things) and christmas menu will have to be re-thought (thank heavens thats OH's dept.) Course all this depends on what happens when OH sees consultant in December but hopefully all will be well. Been years since we had any little kids at Christmas.........last time was when the older grandchildren were 4 and they're 18 now ! (Oh eck...........wonder if they're thinking of coming -need more beds !!!!)
I marvel at how you all cope with families............I find it hard enough with just us...............lol:rotfl:
Foster daughter no.2 phoned last night -will I do christmas eve box for her little boy again.....and hints that she loved the little bits I made her last year (can't remember what now.........lol) We don't normally ''do'' christmas pressies but she's a lovely girl and I'm sure I can do something........button necklace springs to mind..............and pint of socks for her bloke. Sorted !:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Managed to get some lovely items from asos really cheaply for presents and some lancome juicy tubes and eyeshadow from Boots effectively free, another few presents sorted hooray. A couple of other grabbits have sorted most of the childrens gifts except one who I have no idea what to buy her

Only a few gifts to go, haven't bought for hubby yet, he has birthday and christmas in quick succession (gulp!)
On the bright side I finally gave in to ebay selling and made £50 clear profit after fees and postage on a couple of items lying around the house, surprised they wen't for so much.
Glad to see everyone is doing so well with being organised, with November coming round so quickly I'm starting to panic!!
Just thinking re OHs niece, is there any books she likes - thinking shes a yr older than Miss Hoodie and I've just ordered Miss Hoodie the Ronald Dalh set from Book People, - on the weekly mse newsletter, - make up - know madam loves her lip glosses. Make up - the Boots Natural range £1.99 or 3 for £5. Could maybe make it into a pamper set - toe seperators (home bargains, wilkos, superdrug).
Thats brilliant news re ebay. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Wow your monkey is fab. I really want to have a go at one, you have inspired me to have a go. What do you stuff it with? Where is the best place to get cheap stripey socks from?
Thanks.🎄The most wonderful time of the year 🎄0 -

Thanks for the compliment guys........ he is my second one. I made a baby one
I have just been looking about for CHEAP socks, I got those from primark. Got some fluffy ones from poundland and sparkly ones that I will have a go at.
I had a pile of DD's old cuddly toys to go to charity shop and I had not taken them yet, so one by one the stuffing is being removed from them lol..........Saving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -

Hi al
I was out for the day visiting relatives that live far away and came back with something you will all be green with envya massive bag of chocolate bars as the relatives are ex employees of Mars so can get them really cheap.
When I opened the bag when I got home and started sorting through I was flabbergasted to see a load of gold bars you can imagine what came to mind.
I gave some bags of maltesers to trick and treaters and will use the rest throughout the year - apart from the gold bars which I'll use for Christmas.
Keyboard is playing up so hard to write this. Love the monkey.0
