I am going to break it down like you too now! What a great idea. Got 3 cases of beer in morrisons today for £18 which was a good buy so it has inspired me to get everything else when as its payday on friday :)

Ham cooked in cola...wow. Not tried that one. Sounds yummy. Might try that and eat it cold on boxing day, would it still taste good?
A small Thank You can make a BIG difference ;)

    Absolutely!

    Its bloomin gorgeous and tender

I made it for the first time last year and was dubious about what it turn out like. Now I would never cook it any other way.

Super easy and tastes great cold - all my family loved it and no, it doesn't taste of cola either!

    What a day..

Work was the most relaxing bit lol( Well if you call looking after a bunch of babies - 4 year olds lol , but we were quite quiet and carved pumpkins , decorated scary pictures and had our faces painted :) (we do Halloween stuff everyday until Friday) when we all dress up and have a party and the kids love it lol. After work I went to my dads place and played on my drums then it was off to Slimming world ( I lost 3lbs and because I lost 4.5lbs last week i got my half a stone award , and won slimmer of the week with a certificate and food hamper (free foods) ect which was lovely.)
Then shopping (Asda shop) Back home (my cold is twice as bad and gone into my throat its all sore and my glands are right up) I hate anything bad to do with my throat because this time last year I under went surgery to remove tonsils and a horrible growth that had put itself there that bloody growth had me in hospital for a week at a time once a month over about 5 months till they got it out! Because my neck would swell and i couldnt stop vomitting! so a sore throat annoys me!

    Sorry about the rant!

Anyway home , stomached a tad bit of dinner but better a sugar free jellie :) hmm, and now off for hot bath , beechams and bed!

    Hope your all well! xx

Wow everyone has been so busy since Friday! I have broken up from work today - ankle swelling has gone down, whole foot is bruised - quite impressive! I am able to get around without the crutches now, which means I have a little more freedom! I have ordered my Christmas presents from OH from La Senza tonight - had an email to say nice bra's were on offer at £10 each - I got 3 bra and knicker sets for £40, inc free postage and quidco 20% - well chuffed as love their wrapping too! Got to wait in with the kids tomorrow as the sink is being delivered, we are making cakes and shortbread, and DS is going to do his Santa list.
My sister has asked me to book 4th Jan off work - she is taking me somewhere (her treat) as a surprise, and says I will like it, but I'm not too hot on surprises, I like to know where I'm going at least - and can't believe I've got to wait 2 whole months! Need to throw myself into this month's Santa challenge to try and take my mind off it!
The new worktops and tiles are being done next week, so will sort all the cupboards and drawers out then. Will do my food list - with the help of the inspired posts of the last few days whilst off work this week.
Will reply to mum2one re Secret Santa shortly - loved the gift I got last year, and am quite excited about this year too!

Shortbread recipe for anyone who wants it:

    Ingredients:

    150g plain flour
    25g rice flour
    100g butter
    50g castor sugar
    100g white chocolate

    20cm (8inch) round tin

Heat the oven to 150 degrees (300 f) or gas mark 2. Grease the tin.
Mix the flour and rice flour in a large bowl.
Cut the butter into chunks, rub it into the flour until the mixture looks like fine breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar
Squeeze the mixture into a ball. The heat from your hands makes the dough stick together
Press the mixture into the tin with your fingers. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the top and make it level
Use a fork to press a pattern around the edge, then cut the mixture into 8 equal pieces.
Bake for 30 minutes until golden. Leave it in the tin for 5 minutes, then cut across it again and put the pieces on a wire rack to cool.
Pour some water into a pan, heat it until it bubbles then turn off the heat.
Put the chocolate into a heatproof bowl. Carefully put it into the pan. Stir the chocolate until it melts. Lift the bowl out of the pan
Dip each piece of shortbread into the chocolate then put it onto a sheet of baking parchment on a plate. Put it in the oven for 20 minutes to set.

If you can get hold of some sugar stars you could decorate the shortbread with these too.

Sorry if the recipe sounds basic, it is taken from Christmas Baking for Children - the kids love the biscuits! I have recipes for white chocolate brownies, christmas cupcakes, mini christmas cakes, maple syrup cupcakes (these look divine) Let me know if there is anything else you want! I have only made the shortbread so can't comment on the others, but if the pictures are anything to go by... my tummy is starting to rumble!

Im so sorry your not happy about whats been said but i have to ask if there your own phots why have you taken them all off here and changed the wording on some of your post's.Also why would the seller on ebay say you dont supply her.
    Well said.
'Giggles' - I have indeed removed my photos, not only the dog ones but all the ones that I have done of other items I have ever made. Why should I put my photos on here to have them criticised? And to have people, including yourself, questioning if I made them!! The person who accused me of copyright, who I have never heard of before, or seen on here, has been reported and I have lodged a complaint with mse. The lady I supply on ebay (who is not a business, just a friend who ebays a lot) has never been contacted by anybody and has never replied to anybody. I really can't believe that there are people trying to be nasty on these kind of forums and it is only due to the lovely 'regular' people on here that have made me see sense and realise just how petty some people are.... Mum2one created a forum to help us all get ready for Christmas and to give people ideas of things to make as presents, making hampers and gifts for those special people in our lives.... can we please keep it that way?
Any further questions please pm me and stop ruining the board with accusations, I will HAPPILY answer anything you would like to ask......I have nothing to hide.
I suggest you read back to my comments. I simply stated that the pictures you had used were indeed the same as those from ebay. I can supply the emails from the seller you claimed you supplied to anyone who would like them. Why on earth did you report me? Which by the way nothing has been done about as it is a legit post about something which could be very damaging! I already stated that I am not a regular poster on this thread, but if you cared to read any of the last thread then you would have seen I was part of that before the big split and even won a money making challenge which was set up by Jamtart!! Please PM me your email address and I will happily send you the emails from the seller. Also for the record the seller has been sent screenshots of your posts, which she had asked for. These were taken before you edited your posts. MSE will have copies of any posts which have been edited should that seller wish to take it further. So sorry but it is not pettiness at all. Someone has worked damned hard to make things which pictures have then been taken and claimed as someone elses work!
toffeeapple keep putting up your pics some people are just small minded and have nothing better to do than find someone to be nasty to x
Care to tell me how I was nasty? I simply posted up facts! How is that being nasty? If she had nothing to hide then she wouldn’t have removed her posts. Also the Ebay seller wouldn’t have asked me for links to the posts and also page screenshots. I am not a nasty person, but I have had people steal pictures of my creations before and claim them as their own, it is not nice and it is not legal!! I have copyright on all of my creations. Oh and for the record if I was that nasty then tell me why last year I sent out snowman soup labels to most of the people who made them? Ones which I had made myself? Oh and shared my pictures of things I had thought up to help other people keep the costs down?
Lovely to see how people just wash straight over that kind of thing though!

Can I just say one thing though, this is a friendly forum, has been going for a long time not just this year and ALL are welcome, I personally dont care if you post the TATEs pictures , its all upto you, we all make similar things, we all go about it our own way, some people dont put pictures up, thats fine as well.
The only thing I object to is the person who comes on here and starts trouble, if you have an issue with a person, photograph or post, PM that person. (Giving them a chance to reply, bearing in mind some people go away and dont let on(me) because I dont want people to know my house is empty)

You do not have to publish it for all to see.

ToffeApple, please carry on as normal, is was lovely to see your doggies, I`m going to make some myself as I`ve seen your post.

And to the lady who`s objecting, please keep your arguments a little more private please. Thank you. As it causes bad feeling . None of us know the facts, but neither do we want to. Its not as if some ones been physically hurt
LOL not as if someone has been physically hurt? So if you were to spend hours making something for someone to steal your pictures then you would be happy with that? Oh and for the record I have been away from the forum hence the late reply! Maybe people have brushed it off and sl4gged me off for doing what I did, but it is ILLEGAL!

Sorry to Toffeeapple for the rude comments you have had regarding copyright. There seem to be some horrible people that like to come on MSE forums and cause trouble (have you seen the 'Benefits' forum - some people are simply cruel). I am pleased to have found this thread with so many lovely, friendly people, and I hope you dont let that person put you off from posting your piccies. You make some amazing things and I for one, love to get ideas from here. Surely that's what this forum is for, to share ideas not to get into 'copyrights'?! (sorry, mini rant!)
Sorry do you know me? Have you met me? How can you accuse me of being a horrible person? There is a hell of a difference in people posting pictures and giving credit for them to the correct people and people posting other peoples pictures and passing them off as their own!! You are right it is about sharing ideas, and not getting into copyrights, but give credit where credit is due.
Oh and considering this is a very nice thread full of friendly people, yet there are several comments referring about me as “people like that” … LOL you don’t even know me, try looking at it from the other side of the story!!! I am a nice person, many on this forum have met me and would agree, so I suggest that comments about me are kept to yourselves! None of you know me at all and I am very surprised by some of your comments!! The nerve for at least 90% of you to call me nasty and other names, so just tell me what does that make you? The one calling the names? Childish? Or Nasty yourself for calling the names!
This is me standing up for myself, and no I haven’t been on the thread hence the delay in replying! But I am not going to sit back and let you all slag me off and do the name calling!! Think about it from a different point of view.

P.S elsyia, that seller shows as being away, but I ordered last week and 2 days later they arrived, not sure if it is maybe just a busy time for them?
