They're 2 for £1.60 (100g bag) at Mr Ts at the mo - or they are online anyway - don't know how much they are elsewhere though.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Rufus - they're nicer if you're a chocolate fan. They are balls of chocolate with a dusting of white icing sugar. They are what I used last year too!
Here's what to look out for:

Phew - been away for 3 days and have just spent the best part of an hour catching up on everyone here!
I had a lovely time in the Isle of Wight and although money was tight, managed to do quite alot and even grabbed some bargains whilst I was there (took a hovercraft to Portsmouth and went to the shopping outlet!):D
One thing I wanted to mention - I dont know how many of you make 'cookies in a jar' (where you layer the ingredients in a jar and have a label saying how to make them) but they were selling them in a popular tourist place on the IOW for a gigantic £10.85 . It was a kilner style jar (£1 from Asda!), with flour, sugar and white choc chunks and dried cranberries! I felt like grabbing people and telling them they could make them at home! :rotfl:
Anyway, I cant comment on people individually (sorry) as I need to get showered and dressed and dont have much time (yes, I have been sitting on the sofa all morning with a cup of tea!!!). But well done to all of you for being so organised!
Thanks to Mum2one for the next challenge. I shall sit and make some lists later
Sorry to Toffeeapple for the rude comments you have had regarding copyright. There seem to be some horrible people that like to come on MSE forums and cause trouble (have you seen the 'Benefits' forum - some people are simply cruel). I am pleased to have found this thread with so many lovely, friendly people, and I hope you dont let that person put you off from posting your piccies. You make some amazing things and I for one, love to get ideas from here. Surely that's what this forum is for, to share ideas not to get into 'copyrights'?! (sorry, mini rant!) :A
Right, off to get dressed and take out my DS who has quietly watched Dr Who all morning!
Oh, and Hobbycraft opened in my town this weekend while I was away so going to have a mooch over there later! :jGifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas."

The children have gone to Grandma and Papas for 2 days so all alone until 5pm. I have been to the cash and carry and got lots of sweeties for my hamper jars... which obviously need sampling, and we've just had sky multi room put into the bedroom (because my hubby is so sick of x factor on downstairs)..... so thats my afternoon sorted!!
The ironing can wait...;)A small Thank You can make a BIG difference0 -

Popped up town, decided against the snow bites as on feeling the packet it didnt feel like many in there and the size of the jars I have got will take about 5 packs at least per pot to fill them. Think I will just get some of those big bags with all the small sweets in like lollies and refreshers etc and fill them with these instead.
In 99p store I got some nice silver and purple tinsel instead of ribbon to decorate daughter's lilac bits and pieces. Found a nice set with bows and curling ribbon too in there. Also found a pack of three pairs of ladies glitter socks for youngest daughter and some packs of three boys socks with pics on them like the marvel comics, got three packs for the grandsons'. Also another thing I have been looking out for in there for a while now is some nice plastic boxes with a handle on lid that are quite a nice size to do Emergency boxes with. Youngest daughter wants to do one each for her sister and brother with some bits in like light bulbs, pins, needle cotton scissors etc. She can fill them up herself as she goes along but they have some nice bits to start her off in 99p shop.
Bought one of those Galaxy mistletoe kisses bar to go with the Santas Kisses jar and bought enough lips to fill it up so can do that up later on.0 -
Afternoon all! This thread is FLYING!! lol
Welcome xrestrictedx !
Hope everyone who's injured, is ill, got a cold, or 'under the doctor'(hehe) is on the mend!
djstar - WELL DONE on giving up smoking!!! My hubby did that last year, so I know how tough it must have been!!!! :T:T:T:T
rufus - I'm with lucyc58 - I used Cadbury Snowballs last year for snowman poop! lol They're yummy too. Maybe you could use them for something else??
pinkflop - glad you had a lovely holiday!! Well done for your bargains!
I've realised I've done quite well with Chrsitmas shopping so far - used loads of Amazon vouchers to buy a lot of stuff (courtsey of GFK Media questionnaires and Valued OPinions), plus had £20 ish to my paypal account (from survey network) which I also used on pressies! So feeling very pleased with myself!
Well, I've gone and done it - I've set up a blog! lol I'll link it in my profile soon and slowly bit by bit stick some pictures up!! Don't feel obliged to look at it, honestly. It's just really nice that I can finally collate my strange mix of crafty things in one place!
Hope you're all doing well! Think how Christmassy this weather is.... lol
