Hiya Djstar - Congrats on giving up smoking.:j:j:j
I can honestly say, I've never smoked but I know how hard it is to give up. I am very proud of you and so is :money:.
Just think of the money you can save for Christmas and holidays. It'll be worth it! :T
I've never heard of anyone giving up smoking and not being unwell around that time - It's probably a combination of all the yuck coming out and the time of year! You'll feel better very soon.
Good morning everyone - I woke up this morning and it was pouring. Nothing unusual there you might think, but it was sleet!!! Arrgghhhh Winters coming! I don't like cold!!!I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Bought the Slanket on QVC this morning - one for me to cuddle up and the sofa with and one for a pressie for someone else who likes the same
Around £18 which is not that cheap - but if its no good the return date is extended until 25 Jan if its a gift so plenty of time to decide that or notfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
djstar80 - well done with the no smoking. I stopped smoking about six years ago after suffering bad sore throats for years and colds used to go straight to my chest. Since stopping I hardly ever get a cold or sore throat so hopefully you will find that these kinds of illnesses dont affect you so much as your body gets used to being a non smoker. Its a lovely feeling isnt it when you see others smoking and knowing how well you done to stop. Well done again!!! Rufus xx0

I've seen the original slanket for £30 each so you got a bargain anyway! I paid £19 from the gadgetshop for DD1's last year. Quite expensive for a rip-off one, but it's washed time and time again and it still looks new. So your's will be even nicer.
I daren't look at qvc at the moment - It was craft day last week and I bought a craft machine that cost £320 plus an attachment that goes on it. Mum has given me some money and my dad usually gives me money too. So I figured out (the way you do, or I do anyway) that with that reckoning it was half price so it was a bargain!

Going up town with oh today as he has a day off. Have made a list of what I want to look out for, mostly some ribbon and some more lips to fill up my jar. Havent had any luck with the toffee bon bons. So annoying. I will have another look in Co op when we go but couldnt see them the last time I went. I bought some about 2 months ago for OH's Mum from when we still had Somerfields in the town but now its changed over to Co op with a proper revamp I dont think they do them anymore. Searched on My Supermarket yesterday and doesnt look like any of the supermakets on there do them either. I have my 4 lovely jars for pots of snow and nothing to put in them lol.0

How about Cadburys Snow Bites for the snowballs? They have dusting on the outside which looks really effective. That's what I'm using for snowballs.
You can pick them up in supermarkets and poundland0 -
