Thanks PIPSMUM I'm going to make one of those up as well. I did it for my cousin when he was over there but when he got pensioned out I didn't think of sending to anyone else. I had a look at the list - It's MASSIVE!
So sorry to hear about OH. Fingers crossed it either falls through or he gets another job quickly. My sister got made redundant on the Friday and had a new job on the Monday! It doesn't always work like that, but I have everything crossed for you.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hi Elysia.
This dooyoo sit sounds right up my street. I'm waiting for my £5 voucher for doing a MoRi survey a month ago. Before I sign up, just wanted to check, do get extra miles, points whatever for introducing new people? If you do.. I'll let you introduce me if you like.
Hello ladies. Been one of those frantic days today, and will have tomorrow. Hydrotherapy tends to knock me out. So want to wash kitchen floor tonight as well as a load of other things.
Can someone please explain to me what the full name of 2 shops are you all seem familiar with B&H and home bargins? I live in Bristol, are they in the West Country? Listening to you all, they sound worth travelling to. Chillout5892

They either go hard or soft in the wrong places.

Thanks Chillout - that's so kind.
Home Bargains and B&M are bargain shops. They sell things that shops have overstocked on, or discontinued goods etc. Mostly everything is high quality and good stuff - just cheaper, much cheaper!!!!
I live in the Midlands, and there's loads around wherever you go but there's other shops we don't have. I've never been to The Range or a Paper Mill store. I'd love to go! Silly isn't it?
I hope you get some relief after your session tomorrow. Take it easy won't you!I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Chillout, we might even be neighbours LOL, I live near Bristol, always envious of all the talk about those cheap stores too.
Sorry about your news Pips mum hope your OH finds something else soon.
Elysia, I've never had problems with email newsletters like you have. I must have been lucky.0 -
Miss Hoodie is being posh 2mor, she is having juice and cakes with the headmaster......... she got the best behaviour in the class award, the prize - the juice and cakes......
Quiet here, very exicted calling back via Boots to get my xmas catalogue.......... got to get 2 as Miss Hoodie has to have her own copy.
Very organised 2ngt, met my friend for tea, Miss Hoodie was getting her to write things down, I suggested items she grows in the garden, were doing her a gardening hamper, using the argos seed trays as the main part - and luckly she grew some of them.
Weekend plans - is to make flavoured vodka, and then do the raspberries and the cherries into liquor, then get my recipe ready for xmas cakes - doing them start of Nov. Want to get wrapping but the paper in the loft, and boxes are mixed up in the shed, it be a case of grabbing a weekend and wrapping in one go...... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Mary-op - makes me a cougar too lol, another string to add to my bow :rotfl:
Pips mum - sorry to hear about OH, my brother has been told his place will be making redundancies soon, he is due to retire next year or year after though so might take early retirement if they make it worth his while.
I finished off one of the dolls last night, have all the machine sewing done on them, just need to finish them off by hand. The dolls all have smaller dolls themselves which I havent started making yet but I went to the local fabric shop yesterday to get some buttons and felt and saw some lovely buttons in the shape of a tiny pink dummy so bought 4 of them to hang round the smaller dolls necks.0 -
Elysia - thanks for the tip about Boots stuff being delivered to your nearest store. Have placed an order this morning to pick up next monday.

Hope no-one minds me being cheeky, all it is - anyone who does the Boots click and collect check your parcel asap, - the reason I say this is we did quite a few orders last year, (admittadly it only happened once - it the time the Black FCUK bags were offer of the week), and the one half the order went astray, the head office had said it had been delievered to store, the store they hadn't got it as I had signed for a parcel, right mess - the up shot we get a phone call on xmas eve saying our parcel is ready for collection - turned out to be if the items are in more than 1 parcel the store isn't notified or somethig as simple as box 1 of 2 put on the boxes doesn't happen, if there is a bigger order, and its not all there, ask them to recheck the storeage area for the 2nd parcel. As I was told by head office the orders are diospatched in one go.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Well done Rufus. I'm glad it helped.
Thanks for the info Mum2one. How difficult is it to mark the boxes 1 of 2 or state on the form you sign instore that 2 parcels were sent? Isn't it ridiculous?I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
