Happy birthday Miss Hoodie, happy belated birthday Fedupand skint, and :grouphug: to everyone not having a good time at the moment.
I'm feeling incredibly smug, I had a feeling about an ebay buyer so paid the extra for international tracking - and sure enough he claims his item wasn't received. Except the tracking number says it was delivered on the 31st August. In your face, dodgy ebayer.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Glad the ideas came in useful, I was full of them last year and year before lol, was coming on here that started it all off. For those with men to buy for the printing out new labels works well with bottles of beer. I did some one of the years and changed the labels to their fav football teams, went down a storm in fact OH kept some of the bottles lol. His dad had some and he asked after where we got them as he wanted some more. If your really careful you can get the bottles to go back in the cardboard package after changing them or just wrap with some cello and a bow to match.
Off out today, busy day, going to visit ExMil. She lives in oap flats with a warden and often gets things given to her by other peeps in her flats and she gives me first shout if I want them or not. Last week I got a new bedding set just the right colour for our spare room we are doing up. She said she has some curtains this week which might be handy. Meeting my friend up town after for a hot choc and a natter, will have a scoot round the shops to see if there are any bargains I can put away for youngest daughter. Then tonight I am going to the cinema with eldest daughter, I have two free tickets which run out today.
Am nearly certain now that I can go to the knit and stitch show next week at Alexandra Palace, just need my Sil to confirm later in the week that she can take me. Will be looking out for some fabrics as I have two quilts to get started on for Xmas presents for next year for two sisters.
Hugs to everyone, Rufus xx0 -
