    Xmas Saver!
cdsmiller - the 90 box sounds fab, we've done them for mum for her50th, 60th + 65th, dad did his 70th, mates 40th, I always find ladies are easier to do - more choice.
If its a dozen red roses, then I would class them as 12, maybe some IOU vouchers, say pay for a cut and blowdry, you can range the items from any value, daft things like a pencil case set with pencils, some sample size toilettries etc. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

P.S. Does anyone know if there's a current free delivery code for Mamas and Papas?? I want to order the Topaz rocking horse for DD, they only deliver to the house (not to store) and don't really want to pay £8 for postage!! lol

If you look up mamas and papas stockist and see if you can find a small independant one in your area (not the big stores like mothercare etc) then they should be able to order it for you but you might have to go into the shop to pay for it and collect but they shouldnt charge you postage;)

My Lakeland order has turned up but a couple of items are missing so will take upto 7 days for them to arrive so I can't wrap that lot up yet:(

Have done some pics of the other 2 hampers I have finished today so will try and post them later.

Just waiting on order from mad about cards to finish girls craft boxes.
Have just been looking at some bracelet kits on ebay I might get a couple and do them for the girls for xmas. Not sure how hard they would be though.

Nicky - Try not to worry too much, it could be something simple ((hugs)).

    Inkedkitten Welcome to the thread:D

They are on Prezzybox.com! Only got them because I had a £5 voucher code from something that was on Grabbit ages ago! So they only cost the £3.90 postage which I thought was a bit steep for posting a pack of pills but its something different for the hamper! And my Mum is worth it! :)

Here is the link for anyone who is interested!

legend -thanks..............but bit steep for what I was thinking. I'm doing a litte pot of ''hangover pills'' for grandsons 18th party box and thought ''chocoholic pills'' might do for grandaughter (same age) -don't wan't to imply she'd need hangover cure...................lol
I'll maybe just get some ittle chocolate sweets of some sort instead.
Nice idea though and for a choccy themed hamper they're ideal.:)

Susan42 it is very shocking the prices these shops are charging once you read this thread and see what people can create for half price or less!
I saw jars of sweets like flying saucers for $10 (I mean pounds but my computer only has $ keys - LOL) what a rip off!!

Approved Food had some large jars of bonbons the other day, plus some good baking ingredients if anyone's thinking of stocking up. I considered getting some but the extra shipping to me in Germany made them a bit less of a bargain. (I did get the 3.5kg of bread flour though.)

Susan I'm still here! I've been on grabbit most of the day though, and trying to find bargains.

I've bought my sister a large silicone cupcake mould, and a cupcake recipe book. That will go with the philadelphia cookbook I won, the hairy bikers cookbook that I had autographed for her at the NEC, and the freebie mini cupcake moulds from lakeland. I'll get her an apron and oven glove set and a few boxes of cake mix and that'll be her done.

I reserved a three DS game pack from Argos (simpsons, harry potter and another one) £16.99 for DD2. The only one in 20 miles. I'm going with my friend to pick it up tomorrow. Will make it into a girly shopping day, and have lunch out.

I'm sad though, I had a letter off Lakeland - the rest of my order can't be completed due to popular demand. Surely the website knows how many is in stock and can only sell that amount?

Quaphsail (sorry I've prob spelt it wrong). Was it you who wanted Twilight stuff, I've forgotten? I have a pack of Jacob keyrings here you can have. I ordered something from The Hut, and these were sent in error. You can have them if you like. Our lot are 'Team Edward' so I can't give them away. just pm your address.

    .

Susan42 Could I be cheeky and ask for some of your cellophane will happily pay you for it.:D

My friend saw some hampers the other day she said they were really dear compared to what I'd told her I spent on mine so she's thinking of doing her own now these shops charging the earth perhaps we ought to charge them for stealing our ideas :rotfl:
