Hello everyone
mum2one - the pajama party sounds like a right laugh. Hope Miss Hoodie has a lovely birthday tomorrow.
cdsmiler - hope all the right bits were in the Avon order for you to sort through!
abdonz - that Baileys fudge sounds delicious, no matter how long it lasts wrapped in cellophane, I don't think it would last 5 minutes in my house! I want to make fudge for my hampers but will have to do it last minute
nickybo - hope all is ok with your eyes, I sometimes get really flickery shapes in my eye - it's just a migrane without the headache apparently, but the first time it happened it really freaked me out. It's worse if your tired and stressed.
pipsmum - hope your grandad is ok. It is upsetting to see someone like that, no matter what. Sending ((hugs)) your way.
I have done nothing Christmassy for a while now, am making lists of what I want to make for my hampers - had a look on some websites last night for inspiration. Am going to buy all my Christmas cake ingredients next week when I've been paid.0 -
I would also like to say I MASSIVE thank you to Susan for the cellophane, really brightened my day! And then i won a Sodastream in the afternoon so it was a great day all round hehe
Not done much christmas based stuff this week :S Need to get a crack on wiht my Grandads 80th birthday book so thats going to take up all my time for next 2 weeks I think.0 -
Cdsmiller - Wide wrapping paper, don't know if you have a NETTO near you, but its either Thurs or Mon, they start the xmas wrapping and have wide rolls advertised,

No, I don't.ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons, and a little further away there's a Sainsburys...... Thanks though!
Nickybo - Don't panic hun. Always best to find out what it is, what ever it is. Not knowing is the worst. At least when you know waht it is you can deal with it or treat it. And feel free to moan here!!
Pips Mum - not sure what to say, just sending you BIG virtual hugs!! :grouphug: Ok, why does that hug look SO dodgy?! Or is it just my mind?? lol
Happy birthday Miss Hoodie for tomorrow!! (Just incase I forget tomorrow! lol)
mrsow - welcome back!! I used my shredder too last year and used tissue paper - the shredder didn't actually like it all that much though....:o Sorry, not much help that really is it!
Avon order came and was complete! :T No mistakes! Yeay! (thanks cookie for asking! lol)
Wedding anniversary today so we're having a semi MSE evening. DD at her grandparents, we're off out for a meal (lovely place, not overly expensive - gorgeous mains and starters, but desserts are a bit 'meh') then home for ice cream while watching harry potter 6 on DVD! Yeay! lol
Got a big favour to ask you ladies. After putting my aunt off with her ideas of flying my soon-to-be-90-years-old Nan off to Nairobi tot he elephant orphange or putting her on a little plane for a scenic flight over Pembrokeshire (in December?!), my brother came up with the idea of 90 presents for 90 years! (Not like him at all! I was impressed!) So everyone's having a think, and something like a dozen red roses would count as 12..... I'm coordinating it, but if you ladies have any ideas, tricks, unusual ideas, or anything, please let me know! She's 90 on 28th December! lol
Thank you!
Clare x
P.S. Does anyone know if there's a current free delivery code for Mamas and Papas?? I want to order the Topaz rocking horse for DD, they only deliver to the house (not to store) and don't really want to pay £8 for postage!! lolAddicted to Disneyland Paris!

Well done cookie on your win.
Nicky - don't worry too much, it could be something simple. Try and book an eyetest if only to put your mind at rest. Thinking of you.
You take care DJstar, I hope you feel better soon.
Mary, I received your card today. Thankyou so much! I love it.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Sorry Clare I was distracted by the TV during typing my post, so I didn't see yours. LOL I'm glad your AVON came OK. I'm just off to deliver books for the next campaign. I have a five pound Mamas and Papas gift card you can have if it would help.
I did the fifty presents for my Mum's fiftieth, boy was it hard. I didn't count a dozen roses as 12 though. Good luck with it all, If I think of anything I'll let you know.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
