    Hello all :j
All behind myself yet again today........started off with soc.worker calling at the same time as trying to organise our lad into painting his bedroom where it looks like he's thrown coffee at the wall...........lol
Come to the conclusion I'm not good at dealing with two things at once.............lol:rotfl: Still, painting got done and apart from trying to wash everything out with turps instead of water he did ok.
Struggling to make a baby card for OH's neice's new arrival and OH decided to attempt to fit drain cover that arrived from Kleeneze then makes song and dance that it won't fit.............in the end it did.............lol:rotfl: Had also ordered little carpet sweeper........what joy............I can pick up all the little bits that get dropped on the carpet (normally by me !!) without breaking my back !
Day seems to have gone before I know it -still at least cards now done and ready to post, drain cover fitted (sort of) and our lad managed not to paint the carpet as well as the walls............lol:rotfl:

Oh.........about the fat balls..........you can use up your old cooking oil to make them -you don't need to go and buy lard or anything -just the birdseed.

kerri - don't worry about having cats and putting bird food out. We;ve got two cats, next door have three and I read somewhere that if you encourage the birds to feed (safely as possible) if they do feel threatened by cats they whistle and sing to let all the other birds know........sort of a warning.

Welcome to all newbies...............everyone seems so organised I'll go stick my head in a bucket I think.................lol:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    hi all, welcome qapshie,
thank you so much for support i feel i have found from you all during bad times.
back on talking terms with hubby so been and got decs from loft and i had organised them when i put them away last yr so all done
had a crafty afternoon today made
    jam
    baileys fudge
    strawberry vodka
    all my snowman soups
    reindeer dust
so feel like i have had a productive day.

going to town tomorrow to get bird seed, halloween decs for tea party, bits for the shoe box appeal will be doing 3 boxes one from each of my boys, normally make them all for boys2-5, but will do a girl and boy2-5 and maybe a boy one for an older age group.
i think im going to leave most of wrapping til decs are up and its more chrissmassy, but going to put hampers together and get them wrapped in cellophane and maybe do all in laws wrapping.
oh i got my ingrediants for red onion chutney mite do tonight or tomorrow afternoon.
also got all christmas cake ingrediants for 14" for us and 3/4 small ones for hampers.
also got 3 small tins heinz tom and jerry spag (£1-3), to bake the smaller cakes. kids tea sorted for tomorrow night

how long will baileys fudge last if its wrapped in cellophane???????
where can i get 3 shoe boxes from in town tomorrow? is it cheeky to ask a shoe shop?? or is this a daft question lol
    xxxx
