I am a bit down today, went to visit my grandad and physically he is doing OK but he has become very rambly and most of the time didnt make sense. He was convinced the staff had put him on the roof of a JCB overnight, sounds funny now but really upset me at the time. Anyhooooo you lot have cheered me up.

Happy late Birthday to Miss Hoodie x

TQ - The value paper isnt too bad, to be honest I wouldnt really know the difference if you hadnt of told me IYSWIM!

Hope grandad goes on ok, it may be lack of sleep, as lights are always on, on the wards, and I know when I had Miss Hoodie, wanted blackout curtains etc..... of course its going to upset you, you've been through a lot with him being poorly, and although he's downgraded to HDU, it may be a case of changing the medication. Hope everything goes on ok.

Thank you for Miss Hoodies bday wishes, its not till Wed, but because of the hassle we had, I always use to take her away for her bday, think last yr was her 1st bday at home, we have the party early, saves any hassle that may happen. xx

    Hi everyone

Its been a while since Ive been on here, doubt anyone will remember me. Ive spent the last hour trying to catch up, WOW youve all been really busy.

Ive sorted through all my Xmas presents today and it seems Im about 75% done :j:j Thankfully most of what I need now are small stocking filler bits and to finish any crafty bits.

Does anybody have any ideas of what to use as a filler for the bottom of hamper boxes, Ive shredded some magazines then my shredder died

Well off to pack some boxes as we are getting new heating system in next week, I will try to catch up tonight and tomorrow

Hope everyone is well, will hunt out the challenge too xxx

Save you trawling through all the pages, updated the 1st post, theres links direct to the challenge, Oct's does look big, but as usual pick and mix, but no excuses for the freezer!!

Hello, glad to see you again, hope ur ok.
Your doing brilliantly with the xmas organisation.

Hamper boxes - if there food related maybe tea towel or 2, they may bulk up the layer, but cover the bottom.

if its a pamper hamper, semi - same lines, what about hand towel, could add matching flannel.

    Tissue paper, or crepe paper.

Sounds like your getting the heating in at the right time, being nosey (sorry), is it the combi boiler, when we had ours it was the best thing ever, the bills have been reduced:T, we had 2 radiators replaced, think ours took 2 days, hardly any mess. Hope it goes ok, xx

    Hi all

Nicky - your eye - these are things I've had in the past, perhaps any of them might be your problem - something in it without you knowing, dry eyes (can feel peculiar) a migraine without the headache - can get strange eye sensations with that, allergy.

Ever since I had my first child I could never use any type of eye makeup, the childbirth somehow really affected my eyes.

Good job that you have made yourself an appointment as it can put your mind at rest instead of imagining you have every imaginable condition known to man :) which is very easy to do.
  • Morning everyone :)

Wow - everyones been so busy! Took me ages to catch up from last time I was on here lol!

Your all putting me to shame lol! I didn't really get much done at all in regards to xmas over the weekend after all.

I had completely forgotten that my sister was moving house over the weekend so spent most of my time helping her. Also got a new carpet for my older 2 girls bedroom and a new high sleeper (well, new to us!) for Chloe. Just need one for Lauren now and their room is almost finnished.

Managed to pop into town on sat and got a few little bits and the cash register that I had my eye on in the early learning centre for my little one. It was normally £20, then they had a offer on where if you buy the register you got a free shopping basket worth £4 and then when I went in on sat they had 20% off as well so got it all for £16.

Been unwell the last week too, just a flu type bug but as I have ME it hits me a lot worse then most so finally starting to feel a bit better now. Also been busy doing my Avon too.

Anyway, better stop there before I end up writing an essay lol! Hope everyone's ok and having a good week xx

Hi Mrsow, nice to see you back, how about some straw for the food hamper from a pet shop?
