Just reserved the last 2 windowsill herb kits from argos as pointed out by mum2one. Also reserved the ruby wave pendant but undecided about this as it looks mega small and the reviews were saying this too. Not sure whether to buy this for £15.99 and swap it into the ruby anniverary present and put the other pendant into the Christmas hamper instead
Not feeling that Christmassy atm due to usual rubbish ex OH issues sending me a b'day card saying 'love always' and I've ripped it into pieces as I was so angry when I received it knowing he's on holiday with his current GF and he did not tell me and lied to me saying he's only seeing someone on and offfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hi everyone!
Sorry to hear some of you are having a tough time of it. I can fully sympathise as things here are pretty dire at the mo - seems to be one disaster after another. But I love coming on here and switching off and concentrating on my fave time of year - Christmas! Hope things get better soon for those of you in troubled times(((((big hugs))))
On a christmas note, not done too much. I received my cello bags today for my snowman soup so can get started on those this week (when I finally have a day off work!!!) and I went to Morrisons to get my £4.69 tin of Roses! My DS stocking is finished apart from a lindt reindeer which I need to buy.
The girls at work are loving my sock monkeys so will be making a few of those for pressies!
Lots of smilies for all!!Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas."

Oh Fedup, I'm sorry for missing your birthday. (ex) OH doesn't deserve you - you remember that! :A
Well done pinkflop - you're doing brilliantly.
Just a quick note - just caught the end of an ad for Argos. They are doing the £5 off £50, and £10 off £100 again (at least I think it was, I only caught the end:rotfl:).I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Evening everyone,
All seem to be doing something christmassy everyday, making me feel very guilty.
Nickybo - hope you get answers about your eye, as everyone is saying doctors will be able to give you real diagnosis instead of worrying yourself silly off of google.
Quaphsiel - £100 for 100 days sounds like a great idea, always see loads of stuff in sales but am always skint, like most i think. Will definately be sorting this out tomorrow.
Mum2one - happy birthday to miss hoodie, hope you both have a really great day.
Fedupandskint - happy birthday to you, sorry about ex he's rubbish and doesn't deserve you!
Pinkflop - congrats on all you've done, can just enjoy festivities now.
I have had productive 2 days I think, finally made my courgette chutney today, made house stink but at least it looked good. Got my cello cones yesterday, so will make up snowman soup next few days. Also bought last of bro pressie's yesterday, he's going backpacking in january to south east asia so got stuff for that (sleeping bag liner, travel towel, torch (25% sale at trespass and 3 for 2, bargain!!!), locks for suitcase, bum bag and photo album for photos when he gets home). Any ideas on how I could wrap these, would be very grateful.GC Jan £200/£200.78 Feb £250/£156.07

Miss Hoodie played up at bedtime, it was her last sleep of being 7!!
Think you've been really productive, - no sneaking the marshmellows etc when doing snowman soup!
Those are brilliant prezzies for brother, something he's going to get the benefit from, and without sounding daft free'd up some of his money for something else. This may sound totally mad, but when read your post, the 1st thing that came to mind was wrap them in maps - thinking old car atlas - tie in with travels - (ok its the UK), but one of the pages with your local town on - you could put an arrow on - add a message like return to sender or something silly like that. Wacky but fun. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks for that mum2one might just use that, was thinking of some kind of hamper wrapping but thats great.GC Jan £200/£200.78 Feb £250/£156.07
