Just popping on as new to this thread - great to see so many organised folks out there too (my OH thinks I'm mad Xmas shopping already).
I'm not sure how fancy you want your bowls but have you tried your local 99p/pound store? Also (and this will be a bit more costly) if you are looking for something unique have you tried TK Maxx? They have some lovely unqiue bits in there.
Hi Kerri
Welcome to the thread, if you fancy trying the Santas challenge - thats the 24th of each month, (lists may look long, don't worry just think of it as a pick and mix, if theres 10 suggestions and 1 is a help then thats brilliant, my daughter (shes nearly 8, her nickname Miss Hoodie), she helps with the challenges, but has this thing for cleaning suggestions!

Morning all
Went on Vistaprint to try to do the photo calendars as they have an offer of 2 free. Every photo I uploaded said the resolution was low and they would print blurry booooooooooooooooooooooooo! Is there any way to change the resolution of your photos? Theres probably a really simple way but I am a bit thick!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Clare what is Mr A's? You've had some amazing prices for food.
Sorry, ASDA. lol
Queenb - so glad your daughter is happier!!
Well first Avon order doing quite well - got an order for around the £200 mark so I should earn about £50 from that! Holiday fund! Plus friends of ours have set up a small business selling jewellery they've bought from elsewhere - they're trying to raise money for their wedding as she can't get a job (not from want of trying though). So they asked if hubby and I could take a box of stuff into work for them, and we could get 15% commission! Well, I agreed, not knowing what the jewellery would be like and not really thinking we'd sell much...but the stuff is lovely and my work obviously have more money than sense - sold over £300 worth!! So it works out at another £50 for us! Not bad for a weeks work.
However, it made me think. If I brought in good quality homemade stuff, I'd earn a lot more (no commission!). I have hidden away upstairs one of those silver clay sets....I really fancied it a few years ago after seeing it on TV and hubby bought it for me but I never got around to doing anything with it. Basically it's clay with silver dust in, and once you've made your pendant/shape you fire it (oven or blow torch) and the clay disappears and you're left with pure silver....... So maybe I should have a go.....

I have finally finished my 1st complete set of jewellery, one of my Miss Hoodies classmates mum, (we went to school together,), made her
Silver tone chain - black 2 piece droplet
Matching earrings
Bracelet - with small droplet,
Sods law - forgot to take a photo - the most expensive was the bracelet at £2.00, but got the 3 pieces done for £3, and mum as asked if I can do her a set for the foot lady for xmas (makes a change from her recieving toilettrues for the last 3 yrs) - will photo that one.
So funny when dad saw it, - usual male comment - I didn't see you get at Tavistock, (me - no), bit much isn't it looks like that bracelet was about £10 quid....... not the fact that we had been sat in the same room all evening...... but took it as a compliment.
Claire - You have done amazing with the Avon, and your friends jewellery. I don't know how much the articles are for the silver clay set u have, could you make them for christmas / birthday?
