.Hi everyone, can someone just explain the challenge on the 24 th please and the Santa one.only been on here a week or so, and I want to do the challenges.
Well, after a very stressful start to the day (hubby!!!!) We managed to get all our christmas shoppin finished :T, I am so relieved its done, still want to look On halfcost and book bargins websites, I say I finished but our eldest son 12 still needs a few bits but things like ps3 games and mob phone which i will get a lot nearer time as the games he wants haven't been released yet.
He also wants a touch screen phone but he has lost 2 phones in 2 yrs so he wil be getting the cheapest i find on t mobile (like me so free text and calls ).
Really going to have to start sorting through things i have my bedroom is like a dumping ground. Don't know weather to put hampers together or not is it to early?
Managed to get myselfa pair of trainers felt guity.after for spending money on me when we went for Christmas things, but mine did fall to pieces yesterday I nearrt cried
Don't feel quilty over the trainers, guess as mums etc we worry about everyone else.
sounds like you had a brilliant day getting all the shopping. I always say they should had creches for men, espically on Boots 75% sale days..... I just dump me dad on the end of the ailse, and stock him up with the bags.......
santas challenges, I've just updated the links to them on post 2 or 3 (page 1), (missed Junes somewhere, but don't worry most prob be cleaning).
With the challenges - put a new one on 24th, and think of it as a pick and mix, there may be cleaning out freezers, empty that cupboard no one goes in, tips and suggestions for xmas, such as making list of xmas cards, its to spread some of the hassle out over the year. Just pick what ever challenge or tip you fancy, and go from there. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Thanks giggles, might just order them anyway as its not like I will lose much.
I tried finding the free calendars from the cashback site and couldnt find them so I think they have done something to the settings. Here is the link for the free calendars x x

Funnily enough the second calendar came a few hours after I posted this! It fab! I love it! And there is absolutely no difference in the pics! So unless any of your pics are off facebook, scanned in at a low resolution etc then I wouldnt worry0 -

Wow, everyone has been so busy with Christmas things! I feel like I'm falling behind a bit now that I'm back at work, at least I did quite a bit in the summer holidays. I've barely thought about Christmas for the last few weeks as work is so busy. A few of the kids in my new class are driving me mad already .
I did sign up to Topcashback yesterday which is something I've been meaning to do for a while. I then placed an order on Vistaprint so it will hopefully give £5 cashback. I ordered a free pen for my Mum - I put on a message from my son so it will be a little prezzie from him. I also got a free rubber stamp for me to use at work - a reminder about full stops and capital letters because I seem to write that in books about 30 times a day! The stamp will be so much easier :T. I also got the free photo calendar. I couldn't find it when going through the topcashback site so I clicked on the email link I had, made the calendar and it saved into my Vistaprint account. Then I went back into topcashback and then back into Vistaprint and placed my order. I don't know if that will work but I'll let you know. My photos also said low resolution but I went ahead anyway so I'm pleased to hear they turn out okay.
House news - we're moving out on the 1st October, like we agreed, to keep our buyers happy. We've just been told our purchase won't be complete by then. It's all to do with higher up the chain, the women we are buying from won't have completed her purchase so won't complete on selling her house to us yet (complicated!). We knew it was a possibility but were told we might have a gap of a week or two, so we planned to move in with the in-laws. Now we are being told the other purchase is in the 'beginning stages'. To me that means it could still be a few months, arghhhhhh!!!! We can't live with the in-laws that long. They are lovely offering us the room, but they live in a tiny bungalow and it's just not practical for longer than a week really, especially with DS. I think we should look at short term renting but DH thinks we should try living with the in-laws and see how it goes. I've agreed we'll try it for a week but keep an open-mind about renting. If I disappear for a while it will probably be because I have no internet access once we've moved
I need to think lovely Christmassy thoughts to keep me sane over the next few weeks. I was worried I wouldn't be able to buy any Christmas stuff until I moved into my proper house, but I've been told I can keep things at school if needed as we have some spare classrooms now. I can also have things delivered to school too so that really helps.
Ooh, something exciting! I've been put in charge of the Christmas production at schoolWe haven't done one for a while so I'm really excited, can't wait!
