Mumtoone lollypop sticks free in costa coffee....pick up a couple at a time, then two ways of doing it, pick up a pack of stickers in wilkinsons or print you own in a shape of a circle, laminate and stick back to back identical ones. (Pictures of wellys, pots etc loads on google) Self laminating sheets in £1 shop if you havent a laminator

Thats brilliant idea, never thought of that, yep got a laminator, and Miss Hoodie is always on google - thou usually looking for Springer Spaniel Pictures, - Your wonderful.
iday77 welcome to mse organised for xmas:beer:
    Hi from me as well
toothfairy well done on you bargains.
    ditto from me as well

Queenb sorry about the bullying, I really feel for your daughter, i hate bullys you feel so defenseless
    ditto as well

Cookiecrumbs wilkensons /staples for tags, i have absolutely loads here 7cm x 3.5cm, i could post some to you if they`re big enough for you PM me if your stuck.

As regard the cellophane I buy it from a warehouse 30metres for £15...extremely heavy but if anyones stuck i could post it at cost. Its the same as the one on my blog. I think you can get 5 metres in for the price of a large letter.
your a star, def agree buy in bulk lasts ages

Pipsmum if you go through topcash back to vista print for your orders it will work out free and you can order 4 free items at a time. And when you get some free items they mail shot you and you end up eith calender for free.
I use home photos they've turned out ok, as if you have the large calender, the photo takes apr 1/3rd of page - then you have the background design. - and you get £5 from topcashback (do freebie order - just pay p+P once a month)

Savvybunny thanks for the heads up
Ditto from me, I know it sounds daft but to me Boots catalogue makes ift feel like Christmas, know Argos do Xmas ones, but not as exicting.

cdsmiler :T well done on those bargains, brilliant:T:T

Hope ur feeling better, just coming out of mine, but pain,
Mummyslittleboy i went to asda yesterday, but i dont know where my head was, i came out with a pack of 50 colouring pencils for a £1, i didnt notice anything else. My friend is going to cuba so i`m collecting things for her to take
Thats a lovely idea, Cuba is on my to do list, have had 2 false starts - 1st time was expecting Miss Hoodie and the doc wouldn't let me fly longhaul, the 2nd time this yr, due to go the morning of the ashcloud!! Maybe 3rd time lucky, (haven't booked yet!!).

All the christmas stuff in our house is in cardboard boxes in our bedroom. There's loads of them. Last week I had to phone her to collect a change of clothes when I was admitted to hospital. Mum obviously had to go in my room. The christmas stuff is all away in boxes - it's not messy, but she kept making hints about how I should chuck out all the things I've been hoarding. :rotfl:

Glad your mum not come round to ours, she'd have a heart attack, the one shed is full to the brims and all down the side, if there is a gap its been filled, the dining room, half full - does need to be tidyed, and my bedroom, completley down the one side of the bed, its inline with the matress, the wardrobe I can't go into the draws.....

Hi, I was looking for some inspiration on these boards late last night and came across the offer for the weekend bag from books direct. So I ordered a couple and the early learners and getting ready for school learning to write, add up etc. set. Today, I am wondering if these are real bargains or the type of things I would find in Home Bargains or similar for next to nothing. I don't have little ones myself so don't really know but wanted them for friends child. Can you help please? Thank you

I have ordered some bags and a few bits from the 99p or less section, the bags look great value, guess the RRP would be to draw people in, but by what I've paid previously for bags for gifts def like the price.

Can't wait for the parcel to come xx

  • Hi everyone

Thanks to you all for your suggestions on cellophane and tags.

mum2one - think I will try eBay for the cellophane. I also had an idea to wrap all my presents this year in plain brown paper and do some fancy decorating with ribbons and stuff. You can buy it on eBay and you get tons of the stuff for not much money.

I think the idea about the laminated pictures for the lolly sticks is a great one (sorry, can't remember who suggested it.) I was going to say something similar - you can get pictures of vegetables with smiley faces on google which are pretty cute as well as the other stuff.

susan42 - I thought of Wilkos - but I've never seen one in London in my life! Isn't that strange? I would absolutely love it if you could send me some in the post, but only if you don't mind...

Got the day iff work tomorrow but have to take the car in for it's MOT. Bound to cost me a fortune :(

Just popping on as new to this thread - great to see so many organised folks out there too (my OH thinks I'm mad Xmas shopping already).

I'm not sure how fancy you want your bowls but have you tried your local 99p/pound store? Also (and this will be a bit more costly) if you are looking for something unique have you tried TK Maxx? They have some lovely unqiue bits in there.
