Morning!
Found a website which might be of use to some - but I don't know how to post links but if you google Santamailfree. You put in kids name and age and it e-mails letter for you to print! Sorry if you have all seen it before!0 -
Hi Clare,
I think this company is what you are looking for. You can buy the bracelets and then add the charms at later times. Plus you can visualize what the bracelet will look like filled with charms if you want as they have special software to do it.
They are charms for babies and children as well as everything else.

Oh, and through searching through my Christmas website list, I re-found this website! http://www.northpole.com/ Currently in post-Christmas mode, it looks fab. Great for any computer savvy children! Nicely made. The Recipes section (Mrs Claus' Kitchen) is immense!

Hello all :j
Had a day of decluttering -well sort of =-sorting out mums paperwork ! Long overdue and too much of it -couldnt bring myself to do it till now so I've thinned it out a lot and just kept the bits that'll be interesting for family history (care home costs, pensionsm etc,) then got bogged down with a box full of cards she had in the 4 years she was there......they've ended up back in the box but I did take out the letters from my kids.......they made me laugh so much so I'll keep them handy for when I need a giggle...........:rotfl:
Clare - our trip to scotland is October 17th (I think) or 19th..........have to find the advert to check but its round about then. Hoping to be well organised by then but bet I shan't be...............lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Yes, I love that book! We bought it a couple of years ago for really cheap from The Book People.
Got a present for my Mum today; The Convent Garden Soup book from the Works. I got her the first one a few years ago, which she loved and uses weekly and this is the second-for a bragina price of £1.99 :j
Off to London this weekend where I think I'll be popping into Selfridges and Harrods to see what goodies they have. I'm really after a 'Baby's first christmas' teddy or bauble for our arrival in October-are their Xmas things in store yet?0 -
Sugarspun – after all this time, I didn’t know you were in Germany! Lol Thanks for the heads up for Approved Food – taking a look now!
Welcome beachlou, karencooke, turn3r and alie!
Toffeeapple – Reindeer noses! Love that!
Ok, so we’re thinking we might get DD something really special for her first birthday – something she’ll appreciate when she’s older. We’re thinking of getting her a charm bracelet and a charm, and then buy a charm each year. Then when she’s about 10/11 (maybe sooner?) we can give it to her properly. Anyone have any recommendations for a silver charm bracelet?? We don’t want one with charms on already though….and that seems to be the problem!
Thanks all,
Clare x
Thats a lovely idea, I got Miss Hoodies from F. Heinz jewellers, think it was about £40. Got her wack of charms when been across to Tunisia, only pay about £3 to £5 for them, average £10 +, got the ones here from same jewellers.
Thou shop around for soldering, we've had quotes from £6 to £10 per charm..... (shes got 20 charms waiting to be done!!). I got her gold for her christening, (at the time one friend worked for Samuels) and we got some gold charms with her christening money, we left that at 5 charms! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
