Hi everyone
Havent been finding much time to get on here lately, been sorting photos out still for my dvds. Have finished decorating the digital pages for my brother's one and have made a start on one of the sister's. Its a long process but have plenty of time to do them yet.
Got OH to go in the loft yesterday and find my bag of wool, wanted to sort out if I had the colours to knit my grandaugther a Dora jumper but on looking I havent got any of the colours used and then found that the pattern only went up to 4 - 5 and shes already 6. Thinking of getting her a Barbie doll and knitting some outfits to use up the odd bits I have left in the bag instead.
Found I had enough white and red to start knitting shorts and football tops for the footy teddys I made earlier in the year. Had to buy some blue for the Chelsea bear as didnt have any left. Have finished one pair of shorts and half way through a top already.
Bought a nice box in WH Smiths reduced to £2.99 which is just the right size to put ExMil's writing paper, envelopes and stamps in for her Xmas present.
Also bought a small kilner jar in Wilks to put some sweets in, want to do one each for my son and eldest daughter as they can then use the jars afterwards in their kitchens. Will get another jar next time I go up the town but didnt have enough pennies left to buy two the other day.0 -
mcjordi - I think you might be the only male0

I got my Nigella's Christmas recipe book out today and am planning to make chutney :rotfl:
Husband is looking at me like I'm a nutter. I suspect he might be right.
Although someone somewhere said they were separating out Skittles by colour as a gift. I'm considering doing the same with Skittles vodka if I can find a willing recipient (:rotfl:) and a pretty display container.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -

They are so cute Toffeeapple! Are they difficult to make? DH's family hire a huge country house and get together just before Christmas as they are spread out all over the country. We each contribute something to our 'Christmas' dinner and I could make these as table presents. I'd need to make about 16 though, so I hope they weren't tricky
What are the snowman ones you mentioned?
