  • Had a couple of spare hours today so have made my bags of reindeer noses for the kids. They look great. I used red m&m's this year. They will go in the Christmas Eve hampers.

A small Thank You can make a BIG difference ;)
  • Hi all

My first post and I've avidly been reading this thread for a few days now.....

Loving the idea of snowman soup and ordered my cones already!

Just to let you know Tesco have large black mugs for 25p each (and that's full price apparently!) they are large and sturdy....thought I may get some was proof ceramic paint and personalise them a bit.

Toffeeapple, how do you pack the reindeer noses? Sounds like a lovely idea

Its the 2nd Christmas with our little girl (currently 16 months) but she will really be able to get into the Christmas spirit this year so really trying to push the boat out, plus hubby and I are looking to start as many of our own family traditions as possible so any ideas much appreciated. :D

Hey everyone just wanted to alert you to the bargains on the approved food website - some jars and packs of sweets for very cheap and some absurdly inexpensive cake decorating type stuff. And code BIRTHDAY2 gets you 10% off.

Sugarspun – after all this time, I didn’t know you were in Germany! Lol Thanks for the heads up for Approved Food – taking a look now!

Welcome beachlou, karencooke, turn3r and alie!

Toffeeapple – Reindeer noses! Love that!

Ok, so we’re thinking we might get DD something really special for her first birthday – something she’ll appreciate when she’s older. We’re thinking of getting her a charm bracelet and a charm, and then buy a charm each year. Then when she’s about 10/11 (maybe sooner?) we can give it to her properly. Anyone have any recommendations for a silver charm bracelet?? We don’t want one with charms on already though….and that seems to be the problem!

    Thanks all,

    Clare x

Couldn't find much on Approved Food - maybe I was too late.

Forgot to tell you all - had my Studio Christmas Catalogue in the post yesterday!! Ooooo it's Christmas !!!!!!! lolHave turned down pages and circled things - not necessarily going to get things from them, but it's given me great ideas and a list of things to search for!!

OH spotted a coach trip in local paper -loch lomand and Edinburgh -£99 each all inclusive...........last one we went on to Torquay was brilliant so we've booked this one............it says 4 days (2 really as 2 days are travelling).......so got to get organised -sons girlfriends birthday is around the same day so need to get her stuff all sorted otherwise I'll be all behind myself -again !! Plan was to have all my christmas stuff done as well..........not looking like it though....................;)

LOL, someone on a shopping thread I use said they 'perv' over the clothes catalogues.

You must admit Elysia, I bet a lot of us start salivating :) over craft and Christmas catalogues, I know I do.
