Ummm, not wanting to sound completely thick... but what is snowman soup??

basically hot choclate powder, marshmallows, mint candy stick, wrapped up in a mug - wrapped nicely, basically posh Hot Chocolate Mix, great items for prezzies for the teachers, teaching assistants and the other 1001 presents...

I did some similar last xmas, mug, hot choc sachets, cappicuno sachet and latte,, mini whisk - wrapped the mug in cello wrap , little note - having a drink on me. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hi all. Just checking you all OK. I've been around but not posted much.

It's lovely here today. We've been blackberry picking to make jam to add to xmas hampers.

    Hello all :j

elysia - blackberry picking ;) wonder if I can manage that tomorrow...............got to take our lad to solicitors first in the morning....quick run round charity shops (did I say run ??) and the decorators coming...............oh eck......not sure I'll have time and just my luck to fall headlong into a bush...............maybe our lad will go and pick some. Can't make jam though - well, never tried and never had enough stuff to make any with.

Not done much today except fiddle with scrapbooks and get them finished. Foster daughter came round and I gave her a load of herbs as she hadn't got any in her garden except mint. Hope cuttings will take ok. Never quite sure whens the right time to do it.

Must gather up all the bits waiting to be done something with........empty pill bottles that need washing out before I can fill them with tic tacs and stick joke pill label on,(only got 3 -they give me my medication in boxes now!) christmassy/snowman paper to cover gravy tubs, then make list stuff I need...............white flannels for snowmen, notebooks for journals to cover - oh, think thats it :T
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Snowman Soup!
    When it's so cold that
    you holler and whoop,
    it’s time to bring out
    the Snowman Soup!
Pour the packet in a mug.
    Add marshmallows too.
    And throw in these kisses
that are special just for you.
    Now add some hot water
and use the cane to stir it.
    Sip slowly and soon you'll
    feel the warm winter spirit

I cant take the credit for this, i found it somewhere on a site...sorry whoevers it is....

Rufus dog thank you for free software, i just realised i forgot to pm you

Wilkinsons do a pack of 50 if that's any good. They are quite cheap so perhaps you could buy two?

Or, the other place we buy tealights from is Ikea.

We got ours from Wilkinsons but they weren't scented..........cheap though and for some reason tea lights seem to be a bit scarce round here this year.

Just had right hoo haa trying to order some winter veg for foster daughter.........chappie on the phone said order was closed.........went on line to their site and the order went through no problem and I've had confirmation through.
Then had e mail from potatoblight alert with our postcode............not that we've done much good with potatoes this year but thought I'd check.......well, forgot password, they sent me a knew one but I can't use it till tomorrow........

    Small rant over...............lol:rotfl:

Ikea do nice ones cheap, or if you have an ASDA, homebargins or B&Ms they do them but not in big packs so you'd have to buy a couple of packs. Some £1 shops do them too.
