Hi everyone sorry i been MIA went to wales for few days...deliver hampers, made a profit of £178 so chuffed to bits.
welcome toffee apple and qaphsiel...enjoy
mary - i got my things from the kanban factory shop, next time i go i`ll keep a look out and post some down for you, as they`re brilliant quality and you`d never know they`re seconds....;)
mum2one - sarah right, i`m on quidco but use Topcashback for vista order, as you get 4 free things a month on a free order and they give you £ 5 back which makes the postage free and a little bit of profit. :j and I got the pen boxes by writing to lots of box sites and collecting free samples/;)
Mini marshmallows I got in Asda, 99p for a massive bag and i also got some at 69p in home bargains and I bought some cello bags to put them in. Triangle ones for the hot chocolate and sealed it and then put in into another cone bag and put marsh mallows on, a few chocolate buttons and a candycane sellotaped to side for stirring. And I have some verses here if you want them or if you google snowman soups it`ll come up. Mental note, put tutorial on blog as they`re so easy and very effective with a free mug from vistaprint. And i`ve been going to boot sales collecting mugs for 10p.:rotfl:

Hello, I'm not really a poster so much as a lurker these days but I finished my Christmas wrapping today so thought I would stop by and say hello
I still need to write the cards, but will do that at some later date, I'm hoping to get a cute picture of the baby that I can print out and include, but will wait so it's not hopelessly out of date.
Other than that, we've decided to stay at home and not travel to my family this year, so I have ordered some Christmas lights and am happily planning to buy a tree and some shiny baubles and tinsel for it. We've never had one before and I am ridiculously excitedI'm also organising the Christmas food (what are we eating?! It's a WHOLE DAY!!!) and have put my name down to assist in organising a charity bake sale (will make snowman soup and possibly bake spicy muffins, but I'm not a good cook so we'll see).
I feel a bit of a spy, I know what you're up to but haven't really had time to join in. Today, however, all my household jobs are done except the vacuuming and I can't do that while she sleeps so I have indulged myself. Hello everyone, it is good to communicate with you  and I hope you're all enjoying the 132nd day before Christmas!!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hello all :j
Busied myself today with finishing off scrapbook no. 2 -well all bar last page:j Then decided I didn't like the paper I'd used for Mums pages so decided to change that............all sorted now more or less.
Few recipes to stick on card and pop into recipe index box and I think they'll be enough in there now to be able to put that away.
Found some paper in my drawer with snow on so gravy tubs can be covered and the little penguin and snowman bath mitts go over them -they fit perfect. So, think I'm getting there:T
Oh mustn't forget -4 shoe boxes to cover
susan - oh thanks so much.............its such beautiful card. Job to tell on the web sites if its actually the right colour. Made that mistake before:(I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi Sugarspun :j
Your'e going to be busy cooking over Christmas. Those muffins sound very tempting.
Mary, I'm wondering what did you do with yourself before all this gift making? Or have you always done it?0 -
Angela - had to think myself what I used to do............lol Housework of course.....Painted a lot, water colours and furniture -different techniques but my hands/fingers suffered so I gave up - still do the odd bit but not as much. Gardening I used to do as well till my back went and put paid to that along with the housework !
Then I started card making and joined a group -seemed I was forever making cards either for the group or myself (family and friends) and to be honest it got a bit expensive so now its just cards for family and friends and whatever I can concoct thats either recycled from something I've had and don't want or something I can pick up really cheap from charity shops and boot fairs.
Must admit I am getting the urge to paint again........might start on a tiny set of drawers my dad made..............oh and a lampshade that a bit of sponge painting might liven up.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
