    Morning Ladies

Been a bit awol lately. Daughter had her new phone stolen out of her bag Thursday and I didnt feel like doing anything really as it upset me seeing how she lost the other one day after she got it and now this one too. But last night she came in and said that someone she knows saw her phone in another girls bag and confronted her and found it was her phone, still had her sim card in it. The girl had sold the mem card but couldnt use the phone as daughter had locked it. She is going to go and pick it up today all being well.

The weekend was nice, it was OH's birthday on Friday and he loved the Knight Rider box set. We went out for a meal and I met his Dad for first time (only been together 11 years lol) and his Mum was down for the weekend.

Havent really done much sewing, still in the middle of doing the bears, they are still in pieces at the moment and cant sew upstairs for a few days as OH is on nights till Wednesday morning so wont get up there till at least Thursday.

Just off to catch up on other thread, have a nice day all of you xxx

What a shame Rufus - I hope DD gets her phone back today.

Thanks so much for the link Sarah. I'll definately keep that one for future use. I had to go to Clarks yesterday. To tell you the truth, I had a ten minute wait (have waited an hour and a half before now) and chose the first pair of shoes. Fitting to paying - 5 minutes. It's a new record!!! LOL. I hate shoe shopping. (unless it's for me. haha)

Edited - just had a look Sarah. The nearest one to me is Stoke on Trent and that's about fifty (probably more) miles away! They have some lovely shoes and cheap prices too. No wonder you like them. Next time the kids need new shoes, I'll look there first! Thanks

I have organised every room in the house...because I had to find things I needed for my hampers....which i blogged

I have also run down my freezer, and discovered where the off switch (we been here over ayear) was so this weekend I`ll be defrosting that . It was in the kitchen cupboard where i piled everything.

So after I defrosted my freezer, I`m going to make some more christmas cards, more snowman soups and place one order a month on vistaprint...via tcb...everyone getting mug and snowman soup for christmas...as well as other things

    Hello all :j

rufus - so sorry to hear about daughter's phone being stolen.........fingers crossed she gets it back.

susan - my word you sound organised :j
I'm anything but at the minute. Had a real lazy day apart from going round with duster and polish.
Soc.workers coming tomorrow -two of them ! Only expected one ! Oh well, young girls coming to clean anyway -she'll do downstairs in the morning and upstairs when they get here.........maybe the racket of Henry the hoover will shorten the visit...........lol
Really need upstairs sorting ready for neighbours furniture -got old desk taken to bits -would have been ok if the lad who had that room hadn't for some reason taken the bottoms out of the drawers !!! The things kids do sometimes -mind boggles !
So, tomorrow looks like a non-productive day as well as far as christmas goes..........oh well........such is life...........:rotfl:

Rufus - glad everything has worked out with the phone

Mary - I always had dealing with social services and purposefully used to arrange all the meetings for about 8-10 people to be held at my house because it meant I 'had' to get it all clean (well the downstairs).
Nowadays as all that is over, I find it really hard to get motivated to do the chores.

rufus - pleased to hear about the phone :j

Angela - well, there is that to is........its a good way of making sure it all gets done. More than 3 people now (4 max) I ask for meetings to be held at the office across the road from me. Lot easier -means I don't have to rummage around for enough chairs and make endless cups of coffee.............lol

    Hi all

Mary, when lots of people came over the meeting was in the lounge with the sofa, chairs, brought in the dining chairs and with the piano stool for me to sit on I just about had enough :) That's convenient to have the office near you. That was the main problem for me, I couldn't have got to the office as no transport, buses etc to that town from where I live.

Susan you're very good organising all your rooms. Well done.

Anyone watch Create and Craft today? Some lovely Christmas cards from Pinflair.

Angela - my support worker is very good and if there's ever been a meeting at a different office she's always picked me up as I don't drive either. Tried having meetings in our lounge but theres not enough room for all the kitchen chairs as well and someone always ended up sat on the floor..........usually me ..............lol:rotfl:
Wouldn't be so bad but apparently -unbeknown to me- our lads mum is coming  Why am I always the last to know ? Typical
But life will go on and young girl will do the upstairs room regardless.

susan - just had another look at your blog.......love the kan ban card you used........which site did you get it from ? Prices do seem to vary
