About 5 years ago I made a video cd with pics of my mum on it set to music and went to show it to someone over the weekend and it didnt work anymore. Luckily I had kept all the pages that I used. I had made like digital scrap book pages on A4 landscape shaped background with the photos put on with frames and captions etc using the picture editing software I already have. I managed to find some software free on the internet on Monday that lets you make the slideshow and add music and have now made it up again but this time managed to make it into a proper dvd. I bought some decent dvds to use and now intend to make a dvd each for my sisters and brother using photos of them and their families. Have asked my Dad if he will copy all the old pics onto a cd for me so I can sift through them and find what I want. The cds were only £3.50 for 5 so will work out 70p for one. Will make a good present if anyone else wants to do it then PM and I can tell you what to download etc xx0

Hello all :j
Nothing done today due to meeting that went on longer than I thought but at least neighbours had her new furniture delivered so the last hour has been spent organising her old stuff to come round here........it's all in the bedroom now and tomorrow I'll sort it out whats going where.
Hard work organising two young lads to manouvre wardrobes and chests of drawers up the stairs (ours are a bit awkward) but its done now-relief :T
Craft drawers I'll get later on when neighbours sorted them out.........just as well as I've not a clue where to fit them in my little room..............lolI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

:money::T As another plus it kept her busy while I did uni work
:rotfl:Can't say too much as I know others who the gifts are for read here

Hello all :j
Another 'non Christmas ' day (well sort of). Got the furniture we had from next door arranged so the bedroom actually looks like its meant to. Just need to do something with the top of the blanket box -its a bit manky and either needs painting or covering -not sure which, lampshade will be ok with a bit of sponge painting on it I think.
Honest you wouldn't believe the state the room was left in by the previous lad...........
I did get my scrapbooks out and found I needed to print out some names for some of the photos and need more photos copying before I can say truthfully that I'm done. Think I'll have a proper go tomorrow.....then maybe at the weekend I'll sort out all the other little pressies that need finishing off. OH has picked up 4 shoe boxes I can cover -once they're done I can start putting things in them:TI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
