Susan - If you have a Next account, random customers get a chance to order sale stuff online before the sale begins in the store (VIP). It started today but my slot was on Thursday.
Everything I wanted had sold out but I showed OH the bed as he's always saying we need more storage, and he said as its a bargain - buy it!!!I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I've managed to be quite organised this week. At work, we get book companies bringing in products for us to look at and buy. They are usually much cheaper than normal retail prices and they have some lovely things. This week I bought a set of 4 Thomas the Tank Engine activity books for my son. They are early education ones e.g. early reading, writing, numbers etc. He's a bit too young for them at the moment but hopefully by Christmas he will be almost ready for them.
I'm pleased with myself too, as I bought all my end of term presents months ago and now I am feeling the benefitI have two teaching assistants and two parent helpers in my class, so that would have meant an expensive weekend dashing around buying presents ready for next week. However, I did it all in the Christmas sales so I can relax instead
I also have two birthdays on Thursday and I have those presents bought too, I've never been this organised before and I LOVE it

DD came home in a mood Fri ngt, as the teaching assistant in her class is leaving, she's been there 15yrs, and they took a photo of most of the class, and it was why couldn't I be on, the school said you've said no, but I've been in the paper, felt sorry in my heart for her, its very true she's been in the paper, but as I had to explain to her, if she has her photo taken as school, (blue summer dress), but it would mention the school, got ... but why....... not the time to have "that discussion", just glossed over as dad can't know what school ur at, bless her she turned around I've got my dada here, I know he's my grandad, but he's the only dad I've known and he's mine......
So got very mse present - she loves gardening - had a free mini gardening set from catalogue (free gift) with any order, order knickers for mother!, and put one of the pig watering cans with it.
We're having the sleep over 2ngt, sat here with glass cider, dip dab, and refresher chew!!
Took them to the farm, dad came with us, they loved it, they groomed ponies, dd took a 18hand clysdale horse for a walk in the courtyard, they bottle fed a lamb, stroked rabbits and ginuea pigs, tractor ride, milked a cow, they hated that..(determined that they did everything!!... all they wanted to do was play in the sandpit ......it was everywhere, had to take them to the loo and strip them to empty the sand out but they were happy.
Stopped via Asda, the lad at the checkout was really friendly, (if only I was 20 years younger!!), the kids packed, got some sweets for midnight picnic.....said as soon as were packed chippy for tea, - dds friend asks the cashier if he wants to come to the chippy with us, and then home as were going to do some crafting!! I went scarlet, he laughed........
We were productive 2ngt, they've made photo frames from lolly pops, mini notepad.
They then wanted to watch dvd - 9pm, - took up Simpsons at Christmas, went up 10.45, dds friend fast asleep, apparently she fell asleep within 5 mins of getting into bed, dd sat there munching through the popcorn.... and got can I come down and watch TV with you......NO ........ go to sleep!!
Tomorrow - they want to do mini notebook and memo box holder, make alice band and hair accessories..... then she goes back after dinner!!
xx
Very mse - Dayout - free ticket, chippie - dad paid.... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Mcjordi, if I`d seen dora watch I would have got one at that price:T well done
Thxs elysia for the info, my son worked in next once , they gave him 4hrs every sale day....4am til 8am, he went once and said i`m never going again, people were taking partners piling everything on them quick as they could and when they could hold no more they were working out what they were keeping and throwing the rest for people to trample on. His job was to keep the peace
Mary - hope the young lad turns up soon and doesnt cause too much stress:o
Fedup and skint - we buy our gardening books in charity shop , most are new at a fraction of the cost :T, They are that new you cant tell if they have been used before....;)

Fingers crossed for a win for you Susan. What's that? Football, Rugby?
Well done on all your organising Nicki, you should be really proud of yourself. You too Mcjordi!
Mum2one - I'm glad you've had a good weekend. It sounded fun.
I've been to a preview of the film Karate kid today. It must be the only remake, I actually like as much as, if not more than, the original. Totally recommend it, and not just for the ones who have young kids. It's great!
Have you heard? Tom Cruise is doing a Top Gun 2. Now that is just  .I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Young lad came back ok last night at 6pm....couldn't understand what the fuss was about -then went out again when I told him I had to call police to let them know he was back.......he came back hour later and went upstairs-policemen came before he got the chance to run off so that was that. He's been fine eversince..........mind you he's not back for dinner yet..............not that thats anything to go by with his timekeeping.............lol:rotfl:
Tummy is ok today (fingers crossed it stays that way) but didn't bother with boot fair....weather was miserable and very windy.
So, did a bit more to scrapbook no.2 instead........only 3 pages but I'm getting there........least I'm over half way...............lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
