Elysia, thank you for thinking of me and I wont get my hopes up, i posted on other thread as I didnt really understand what was happening
When you have to give 5 parks and 5 dates by mail, its hard..... apparently you can chop and change on line...i think:)
Had to chuckle elysia "went on VIP site for some little things" and bought a storage bed, crack me if i`m wrong but isnt that a large item:rotfl::rotfl:
And elysia and foxy, what is a VIP sale....
Mum2one - well done on winning the farm prize and let them talk, whether you sorted prize or not, they all had the same chance as you, and you deserve it for doing the hard work:D
I remember doing a raffle once and organised all the prizes, all the tickets and sold them and then OH won the 1st three prizes...
It was abit embarrassing but he said he deserved them for putting up with me :TChallenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
That's good Rufus - I'm glad you had a nice time.
Foxy - there are lots of outlet stores about. I went to one in Poole, They had lots of not just Poole pottery but Royal Doulton, Waterford and Dartington crystal etc. Have you tried looking on the manufacturers site and looking for an outlet section? I bought a Dartington Crystal bowl - should have been over £50 for £10 and you would have to be an expert to find the fault.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hello all :j
I'd be sitting outside in the sun now if it weren;t for the wind and the fact it might blow me down the street
So, instead I finished off all my handbag charms, sorted out my freebie fabric -now instead of a load of tatty envelopes in the drawer they're in a photo album neatly tucked into plastic sleeves-I even got around to sticking some on my last two pieces of cream card -only stripey material but they'll do for extra notelets.
So........feeling quite satisfied with myself today -though just looked around this room and it looks like a bombs hit it  Oh dear.............and just when I think I'm winning. Never mind............could be worse.;)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Had another bargain today - I was taking back the rolls of wallpaper I didn't need to Homebase. I needed to get another roll of border, so I was looking to find it and found some wallpaper for my bedroom reduced from £17.99 to £1, as it was 10% off day it only cost 90p per roll.
If you need wallpaper hurry to Homebase and get a bargain. There were lots of designs to choose from.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Afternoon all,
I've not been on this thread for ages and thought it was about time i got back in to things. I've been a bit pre occupied since the birth of my little un.
Firstly i have to say well done to you mum2one thats brill news.
Right a quick update from me. It's my OH's birthday coming up next week and i managed to get all of his presents for nowt. I saved all my tesco vouchers (since xmas) and had just enough to buy him one of those experience days driving an aston martin, should of cost £280:eek:, also been saving up my vouchers from surveys and got him a dvd, blu ray and book.
I've just been trying to plan what i'm getting peeps for xmas (those i havent already gotten sorted) and i've decided that i'm gonna save my tesco vouchers for my mums xmas box. She loves jewlery so i'm gonna exchange them for goldsmiths vouchers.
Also need around £80 in amazon vouchers for ds(3) and OH's gifts - better get cracking with the surveys.
There's 2 people i'm stuck for tho. My dad and my brother. I always get them the same things every year and want to do something different so i'm looking for some inspiration.
Right i'm gonna try and catch up on whats been going on on here and find out what this months task is.£387.39/£196.46

Thanks for the advice re Dartington Crystal
I've had a look on amazon and found a lovely bowl which is well priced and there is an outlet store close by too that I didn't know about so off I will go for a look next month
Have saved the things on amazon on my wish list to compare the prices with the outlet shop later on
Looks like the pressie is sorted and will ask my brother to go halves with me and even better!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Welcome back Nickynoo. OMG those presents are fantastic - he'll love them.
I'm glad we helped Fedup - I thought of you today - there was a Denby dinner set half price in Tesco. Porbably not as nice as yours though.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

The one I bought for mum is gorgeous - a mix of chocolate sienna and sienna ellipse - just waiting for 2 buffet saucer plates to arrive to go with it and the mugs as I love that look of a fat mug on a plate eg piece of cake, scone, biscuit or sandwich
Mine is in imperial blue and I use it daily and it has been ace - hardly a mark on it
Its a great make for sure, think the ones they sell in T's are a lower quality version.
I did well on the price for £66.90 when should have been £230 full price, that's why I snapped it up ready for Christmas. I'm tempted to keep it myself! Only joking!
Thanks for all the help on here, makes a real difference to focus the mind on bargains and start planning now to have a less stressful Christmas present buying timefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
