    Congratulations Mum2one -that's a great achievement!!

I keep meaning to join in, and I'll probably be more of a lurker than major poster, but I am both a Christmas nut, and a lover of crafting. At the moment, I have a large stash of knitting wool and fabrics to use up, with loads of ideas but no time and energy to do them. And I have plans to make at least half my Christmas cards this year - I have the cards and some decorative bits, but again I need time. I love watching create and craft for cards ideas though (I will be doing mainly plain enough ones, but I may have a few embellishments!!).

I am determined that I will take at least a few extra days off on summer hols, to get started when DD is still in creche.

    Well done Mum2one xx

And welcome to all the newbies joining in.

Daughter's birthday this weekend, am still waiting for the memory cards to come for the new phone and camera, hopefully they will turn up before Sunday. She wont be having them until the evening as OH is working all day and wants to see her open them, plus she is off to Thorpe Park for the day Sunday with my eldest daughter and a bunch of friends and I dont want her losing them (you might remember we bought her a new phone last year and she lost it within 2 days). Her Twilight journals turned up, they are lovely, those of you who also have daughters who like Twilight, I would recommend having a look.

I am having my belated birthday present off my OH this evening, my birthday was in April and he bought me two tickets to see Will Young at Rochester Castle Gardens. Its and open air concert so really hoping the rain stops before this evening. Its pouring down at the moment. Checked BBC weather for our area and they havent forecast rain all day but there you go. I am going to have a relaxing day today so I dont tire myself out before tonight or I wont enjoy myself so much.

Got a nice bargain yesterday, went to Gravesend for the day and said I wanted to buy my Grandaughter something else to go with her books for her birthday, went in charity shop and they had a beautiful dress in there, really girly and pretty, like a fairy dress or something though not for dressing up if you know what I mean lol. Very princessy, was only £3.99 and looks like new, was just her size too. So thats her sorted for next month.

Anyway, off to check the other thread then I will get dinner cooked and out the way (they can hot it up in the microwave when he gets in form work). Catch you all later xx

You have a lovely day Rufus - put your feet up for a change. Have fun at the concert tonight.

JLS are playing Warwick Castle tonight (not far away) - Trouble is it'll be all screaming girls  (unlike Will Youngs I expect). I never could understand that - I must have been old before my time.

Have a nice day everyone else too.

I'm wallpapering the living room today. Kitchen, hall, stairs and landing have been done in the past month. Just the bedrooms to do next.

congrats :j:jmum2one:beer: on achieving target well done

Winged one, you lurk all you want, i`m sure theres others, i must admit i lurk on another thread, it goes that quick its hard to keep up

rufus - enjoy your concert and hope the rain keeps away

elysia - good luck with the wallpapering.

On a different note - i know some of you been on sun holidays...where would i get a priority code from to book one. I would like to organise a trip for the twins 18th but am a little strapped for cash...arnt we all. I heard talk that if you have a priority code you could book on line and shuffle some dates around....yith DS having a part time job we can only get certain days off and i didnt want to post a booking with the money and then not be able to go
