    Hi all

Nickynoo I've seen a lot of Family Guy merchandise - dolls, keyrings, posters, fridge magnets etc - but not sure how much all that would cost altogether. Also seen some knit/crochet your own Stewie dolls on some free craft pattern sites.

mum2one, hope you enjoyed your show. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your holiday too! :)

elysia - about your film. I saw bits of Will Smith's son and Jackie Chan on tv but didn't realise it was about a film they both starred in. So that was the mystery (I had been wondering). I bet it was good.

Unlike the majority of you, I can't seem to get into a Christmassy mood yet, even though I'm trying out recipes - probably I need to get out some Christmas crafting to feel on the same wavelength.

Sarah how did you get on with your placement?

Hi mum2one - I have my fingers crossed for you for your holidays.

Nickynoo - There`s lots of things on play.com and amazon for family guy, i`m not familiar with it myself, but they have t`shirts, poster, sounds on a keyring...why not print some papers and attach to shower gel. Things like that.... How about making a card with family guy on and putting a token in for a cinema

Hey mary, whats your fly called....(your new pet)

    Hello all :j

Too hot to do much today so did two more scrapbook pages then had visit from young lad who used to live here and does a bit of gardening now and then. I want a shrub dug up so he needed to 'inspect' it so he knew what I was on about.......lol
Hopefully he'll be up and do it before the weekend if its not too hot........he's as bad as me in heat like this.
Off to see ENT boffin tomorrow morning........local anaesthetic, pipes up the nose :eek:Can't see it as being a pleasurable experience.............:( Still, if they can stop the buzzing in my ears it'll be worth it.

susan - my pet was called Roger till we fell out and I swatted him...............lol:rotfl:
Not to worry.............he's got friends it seems.........

I wasn't insulting you - honest! That would be something I would do - Roger the fly! ;)

Here we go, to make it up to you, I found this on a blog and thought of you. I'm going to make some myself. Gift bags made from newspaper. Edited to add. Having another mooch, I found these to make out of your freebie samples of material. Bookmarks

Edited to add: Rufus scroll down the page until May 13th, there are loads of purse and handbag tutorials. They may be handy for your craft stall.

I love the crocheted cactus - if anyone can make them, I'd love to buy one!

The show was absolutely brilliant, "murdered to death" - take off of a Agatha Christie play, but with jokey edge, everyone was in stitches of laughter, brilliant ngt.
Very MSE - found another 2 shows want to see,Brian Connerly, and Bedroom Farce, so collared his credit card!!........ He had £22 knocked off as He di Hi been cancelled.

Done a few bits of jewellery, ready for the teachers, the teaching assistant, the 2 woman who does the reading group!! Its endless......

So going to get them sorted and get them photographed, feel like I've cheated as I've just put bits together, but saves money. The Bookmark, that worked out at 45p, seen similar sell£3.00

    CARDWAREHOUSE
While I think of it, they have got a sale on -all the fairy related items, daughter, mum, nan, grandmother, grandaughter and friend - plaques, mugs, photo frame, all reduced from £2.99 to 99p - good value to put up for next mother day, or 4 grandparents at xmas.

They also have in 2011 diaries - the a5 size 99p, the small handbag size 59p.

I managed to get round town on me shopmobilty scooter, thou nearly ended up with a few mascots on front........they walked infront of me!!

Bargains - If anyone is like me and built for comfort not speed, and takes 16+ Ann Harvey have got a sale on - the reductions are massive - picked up one skirt, £110 reduced to £5.40....... but it was miles to big.

Thou did get couple super deals
Black Jacket £9.90 instead of £80
    Red Mac - £7.40 instead of £70
    Blouse - £6 instead of £50

Over half the store had got sale items, if anyone was going to a wedding, posh do, the bargins were unbelieveable, there was a dress £200 down to £10, another liked - no where to wear it, shift dress, matching jacket was £300 reduced to £28.......

Was very good and what I knew I would use.

(Its the only time I go into Ann Harvey when theres a mega sale on!!) xx

Did good got my one assisgnment sent off last night (10 days late - got extensions), so that leaves me another to do by Friday - not looking forward to its Finance one....

Brilliant news mum2one :D and what an excellent day you had with your dd and friend.
    rufusdog glad you enjoyed yourself!

Well i've been trying to make a list of hamper ideas as i'm refusing to spend loads of money this year. I just spent loads on the kids, but most of it was practical so its balanced out, i think.

Even started writing out what i need for school in September, shockingly! the challenges are really making me focus, go me :D.

Well going to do another survey and see how much i save up for xmas.
