    Morning All

Well I survived beaver camp, and we all had loads of fun, wall climbing, rope walking, hook a duck with a crane, Giant football and loads more stuff. The beavers were all a bit miffed that they couldn't go canoing but they soon forgot, bless;)

Spent most of yesterday making cards and presents for teachers for next week with the kids nearly finished now so they can take them in on wednesday. Did 10 tonnes of washing and a bit of cleaning too. I've still Got a few party things to sort out for beavers party tomorrow as we break up for the 6 weeks hols.

I Start my work placement today for 4 weeks so that should be fun but will mean I'm going to be lagging behind on challenges etc for a while, I'm still behind from last month:eek:.

It's been pooring it down here this weekend, feels like winter, getting all christmassy :xmassmile sounds like I'm not the only one though

Susan - Sounds like a great day for hubby, and to have his son with him, - nows the time to choose that expensivediamond ring / necklace / earrings while hes in a good mood!!

So glad to get my bed back....... felt like luxury......

Sarah --- Sounds like you had a fab time with the beavers, brilliant when they get the opportunity to do those things. I'm sure we can forgive you for being behind with the challenge - don't worry July's will be gentle-ish!!!!!!!!
Good luck with the work placement hope it goes ok.

Just haveing quick 5 mins, then off to attempt an assisgnment- give it a go...... off to see play 2ngt Murder in The Dark, apparently its on the same lines as Agatha Chrisite, but funnier.. Taking dad with me.

Sods law - Had a letter of the theatre they have had to cancel the tickets for Hi-De-Hi, - apparently unforseen circumstances....... I was so looking forward to seeing it and ss was, but at least it saves me driving back from North Wales for the day.... Thank you Tesco clubcard vouchers - you've paid for the holiday!! xx

I got another great bargain today.

Leather school shoes from Next usual price £22 reduced to £3.00
(dd usually only has Clarkes but even if she only plays out in them they're still a bargain)

I bought some for DD's friend, and my Neice too at that price.

    *************************************************************

Susan, Tom Cruise is going to be in Top Gun 2, It doesn't have quite the same effect now he's older!

Anglea - Jackie Chan was in it. He played the person who taught the boy karate. They all have different names, and places (this one set actually in China, so more authentic, but the storyline is basically the same. It's a long film though - 2.5 hours! I loved it, so did DD2 and OH, but dd1 (19) said it was a bit slow in the middle. Will Smith's son played the boy - he's a fantasic little actor.

How long until your holiday Mum2one?
    I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Woo hoo, another present sorted, well almost sorted. We decided to get our ds a DS for his birthday, thing is as we're on a budget we decided not to get him a brand new one (he'll only be 4 but loves playing on mine). Anyhoo my aunty is wanting to sell hers so i'm buying it from her for £50. We had looked at getting him one of those vtech hand held ones but it would have worked out just a pricey and wouldn't have the longevity of a DS, plus the kids games for DS are so much cheaper too so a result for us:j
Also my awkward younger bro has told me he like family guy and would like a dvd or 'summat' for xmas. I'm thinking of putting a 'family guy' hamper together for him. Any ideas on what else i can put in, i know they do t-shirts but what else? I'm looking to spend around £20 or at least use vouchers from surveys. I have never seen the programme and its for a 14yr old, any ideas most appreciated:D

    Hello all :j
    Hot day............too much for me...........
Did two more pages to scrapbook no.2......got all muddled with photos and stuff I'd copied twice.......typical ! Either duplicate it or forget to do it at all..............lol:rotfl:
Young girl who cleans came up but sat and chatted so coming back tomorrow.........think we both needed a bit of a 'natter' time...........if you know what I mean.
OH had forgot I've got hospital appt. Wednesday and arranged to go to work:eek: He'll change it no problems but how typical for a bloke to forget -especially when its written clearly in the diary !

    Oh bloomin' flies.......think I've found myself a pet !!.............lol:rotfl:Out with the swat I think.............:p
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
