I certainly hope so,i need to find a good deal on lcd tv now. Getting the ps3 so cheap has made me able to afford to upgrade their old tv. My boys share a room so they will be joint presents.
Off shopping today,will update when i get home0 -
Wow that is the bargain of the lifetime for the Tammy items.
I bought some but there was another lady there with a basketful!
Love the cards, they look super with the seeds in them, can I cheeky and borrow your idea - just incase my "freebie" set doesn't come. I hadn't got any A4 card in, so I used card blanks. My seed packet has the price printed on it, so I'm transferring the seeds to a little envelope and decorating it, so it looks prettier!
Ah bless, just got visions and started laughing, re puppy training classes, dare we ask if your going back. Must go back again. We blamed Miley's problems on the people who owned her before, If Jack has problems it's our fault, so we're trying to start off on the right foot.
Bailey sounds like my Mum's Yorkie. He's over 13 now but he skips up the road as if he's still a puppy. He's deaf and if he doesn't see you enter the house, he'll look at you as if to say 'how did you get there?' and smother you in kisses. LOL. Aren't dogs little characters? I can't understand how anyone would want to hurt them.
My earring kit came, so will post a picture as soon as I can find the battery charger to my camera. I'd use my phone to take the picture but I'm not that technical! :rotfl:
Christmas is definately coming! I had my new cross - stitiching magazine arrive today and there's a bit at the back that tell's you what's in next months issue, and its an advent calendar!
On the organising front - my Tesco order came yesterday. I have an ikea storage unit in my bedroom and all the Christmas presents are on the top of it, so as I took eveything down to re-arrange, everything and I mean EVERYTHING fell on top of me. There was me cowering, covered in boxes, the contents were spilling out everywhere! I just shoved everything back in the boxes and put them back, so I need to organise again, and write down what I have as I haven't done that`for ages. I might even take a leaf out of your book Mum2one and start wrapping. That way, I won't have to touch them again, until Christmas!I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hi all
Mum2One, I know what you mean about people never aging.
Those recipes you liked the sound of were from a library book GOOD FOOD magazine Book - 101 Christmas recipes. Pehaps there is a website? If necessary I can write down the ingredients.
Elysia - I really like the look of the jewellery kit, very pretty - so am looking forward to seeing it finished. I think we need to send in the Ghosbusters to your home, you must have a poltergeist with all those boxes falling down!
Re your seed cards - I've lost count the amount of times I was meaning to attach a pack of seeds to a birthday card. Those THANKYOU cards of yours are fantastic.
Advent calendar already - to give you time to stitch it in time I suppose.0 -
Thankyou but they're not mine *blushes* they are where I 'stole' the idea from!
Mine are like a birthday card style. I can post a pic if you'd like to see. They are pretty minimalist as I don't like fussy things, and also they were just made up of bits and pieces in my stash.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hello all :j
Bloomin' heat (shouldn't moan I know but I'm no good in this weather)
All I've done this morning is make some notelets that will suit a young lad we used to care for who's written to us and wants to make letters a regular thing to keep in touch (cheaper than phone) so had to do some without flowers on !
Another lad called this afternoon who we'd not seen since last year.........he wanted to look round the garden to see what had changed since he lived here so out I go..........(bucket in hand for sweat!!) Oh was I glad to get back indoors again but the bloomin' flies ! Can't win...........open the door for fresh air and in they come then they're too daft to find they;re way out !
Love those seed packets...........had two free packets yesterday and think I'll put one in a seed card like that (if I can do it) as an 'extra' for foster daughter.
Need more shoe boxes............once I've got them I can get them covered and sort out the 'stuff' I've got............so far I've only got 3..........!! Ooops......no its 4...........and two of them are for sons and girlfriends birthday:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all
Mary with your extended family you'll always have plenty of people needing your pressies.
Elysia it will be nice to see a pic if you have time.0 -
Angela - they don't all get a shoe box........some just get a little package of some sort of bits I've made but there's about three that get a shoe box in addition to my family.
Scratching my brain here......made a little stamp holder to go with sons birthday notelets -I know with MIL's and other sons I somehow tied it, threaded a cord through but blessed if I can remember how I did it............:rotfl:
Have to ask OH I think...........mind you he's so hot and bothered at the minute I don't think he'd want to bother...........:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
