I hope everything goes OK with the move Erm. Our last move to our house now, was done by removal men and we only moved 200 yards. :o

Go and get a bottle of wine to relax with on Sunday evening, and we'll see you Monday. :D

    Hello all :j
All this talk about moving...........I dread to think where we'd start if we ever 'downsized' Havent finished de-cluttering from when we moved here over 20 years ago.............lol:rotfl: Well, maybe we have but just added different clutter............lol:p

Well, morning spent in court........bit of waste of time really but thats how it goes sometimes. Came home to a pile of post..........fabric samples:T Oh was I happy !!:rotfl: Got so many now I think I'll have to have a folder to keep them all in ..........lol Some will be ideal for cards and some I can use to make hearts and xmas trees to hang over the dresser.
One of the girls we used to look after has a birthday next week (twenty something -can't remember exactly) so I'm sending her one of my specs cases I made............be a good try out on her. She doesn't wear specs but will be ok for sun specs. Hope she likes it..........:)
Tomorrow I'm going into town when soc.workers been in the morning. OH has a funeral to go to and I'll see if I get one or two of the odds and ends I need to finish off some of my pressies.........get them packed up out of the way hopefully.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Santas Challenge....
I'm doing very well on this months challenge so far.

    £2.00 challenge
that was earlier mentioned...... ladies and gentleman, the task is to look through your birthday and xmas lists and buy a present / make a present for £2.00 thats the maximum spend, can be for anyone, if you upload picture by the 20th July, ready for next challenge and I can announce the winner.

I bought these today off ebay to make for DD1 .http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230494975150&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

    Summer care pack.

    School Uniform
Have blouses, trousers and P.E. kit so far. Also have got new school bag, pencil case, and lunh bag. Just cardigans, underwear, socks and new shoes to get.

    Leaving Presents
As its nearly end of term, start planning who you have to give to.
On the teachers leaving presents thread, someone posted a little packet of seeds which read 'Thankyou for helping me to 'grow' '. I thought it was really sweet and so I have bought the seeds today and will make them the weekend.

    Days Out
It may be a long shot, but look at local papers, and the website of where you want to visit, they may have offers on, early booking, web booking, family packages, espically if somewhere like Alton Towers etc....
I have booked two trips today - the Butterfly farm at Stratford upon Avon, and the Space Centre and Leicester. I used Tesco Clubcard vouchers so both only cost £17.50. I have more vouchers and so will book iceskating or the cinema later.

I hope everyone is doing well with theirs! :)

Found a Denby set reduced to £66 on Debenhams website that I asked Mum if she would like for christmas and she said yes
 Gutted the set is out of stock now. I stupidly went off the make some tea and order afterwards and it had disappeared off the website and is now out of stock

Yesterday it was this and for most of today. I rang around a few stores and spoke to very helpful staff who looked for a set for me and then the final local store I rang, when I thought they wouldn't have one and a very kind staff member had a look when I was on the phone and told me they.......

    HAD ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j

    And now I have it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j

All the vibes must have been going in the right direction to magic this one up in a shop :T

That's a big part of the hamper sorted and I'll wait until the next 25% off at Debenhams (as undoubtedly there will be another one before the big day!) to get some matching glass bowls and a couple of bits for my collection

    Xmas Saver!
One of the other mums at school, has said that Asda had got the kids summer dresses for half price.

Hope everyone ok, somehow I have agreeded to dd having a sleepover, the weekend after......... So that means I have to tidy and declutter the bedroom, so they can have that, then I have Miss Hoodies room.

Fingers crossed - The teaching assistant is leaving, and she loves gardening, had a leaflet with my catalogue - valued customer - (that was after 1 order), so mum wanted some more undies, so as we placed an order we get a free 6 piece gardening set, so fingers crossed that come in time...... One present less to buy!!

Very mse day, my friend took me for lunch, wouldn't let me spend a penny, so when she went to the loo, sneaked to the bar and got her a glass of wine......
I had gammon and all the trimmings - gorgeous-

Then dropped her off home, popped into say hello to her dog, he'sgorgeous, a black cocker spaniel, he's a month younger than Bailey, he went mad, tailing wagging, he ended up curled up in my arms, giving me kisses, then decided to wash my glasses, so had to then wash them, and he came and hid under my skirt he didn't want me to go........ had the cold shoulder all ngt from Bailey, as he could smell the other dog.

Started revamping my xmas list - having a another little trim down, the shed is up to the rafters with boxes, think be case of pulling them out and do bulk weekend of wrapping.........

Elysia - Your really well orgainsed.

Fedupandskint - that is brilliant news about the dinner set. xx

    Sweet dreams, xx

    Hello all :j

Went into town this morning in attempt to get one or two bits to finish off what I've made..........no joy ! Small town, small shops so limited stock but thought I'd support them if I could. Oh well, can get what I want on line.
So hot...........came back and forgot half what I went for and now can't remember what it was...........got a list somewhere...........oh I'm no good in this weather !
Looked at the stash in spare room and it looks a lot but when I looked closer there's not as much as it seems..............oh panic !!!
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
