    Hello all :j
    Feeling a lot better today..........not 100% but then am I ever...............:rotfl:

Think I'll have to put one of those jewellry starter kits on my ''wish list' for birthday or christmas. I've been trying with bag charms and button necklaces but would love to have a 'proper' go.

Results of todays efforts.............well not a lot. One of the button necklaces I'd made got in such a tangle it was easier to take it all to bits and re-do it (she thought daftly !) Well, it's done now and I'll have to somehow fix it to some card so whoever gets it doesn't just find a tangled mess of buttons !

Got three flannels out..........one cream one is now a snowman.........the other two are just wrapped around one of the freebie soaps I got. Was going to try and be a bit 'clever' and combine the two colours but afraid that got me beat so now ones burgandy with pink ribbon and pink flower attached, the other pale turquoise with lace tied round it and a piece of embroidery attached.
Snowman is just wrapped around freebie soap, elastic band round it to make the head, tiny baby mitten (blue and red striped) for a hat, blue velvet ribbon for scarf............just need the goggle eyes now. Just makes a bar of soap and flannel look a bit more interesting.

Fabric samples came today.............A5 size......do for covering little notebook maybe.

So, not complete wasted day...............need to make list of all the little bits I need to finish off stuff...............plus more shoe boxes !
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I started off on memory wire bracelets. Dont worry too much on size of beads, as a mix always looks best. 8mm are quite nice sized beads then 4mm are nice sized filler beads. Maybe buy a bead mix to start with as this means you get a lovely mix without spending too much, I used jillybeads.com to buy a blue bead mix and loved the end result (a memory wire bracelet too!)

Thanks Giggles and kms. My birthday is coming up and people have been asking what to buy me. I think I may have to hint at some jewellery kits. ;)

Half price toys in Tesco. Free p+p if you order online and spend over £50 or collect instore for free.

Here's the link (as posted on grabbit)

    http://direct.tesco.com/promo/?id=S00018953

I just ordered two sets of disney hama beads (DD2 and 1 for her friend), a swingball set (neice 5), a clock powered by snot (nephew 9), Charades for kids (dd2) and Britains got talent game (dd2).

Sarah, I collected two vouchers for the Kingsmill Britains Got talent game and then the offer was withdrawn, so I had to buy one.. At least it was half price. ;)

    Hi all

Love all the jewellery, cakes and candles that a few of you have posted.

Card Factory alert *** I spotted a shelf with boxes of Xmas cards for only 50p !!!!!!!

Reading about Mary's snowmen, triggered a memory about dolls that you can make as presents that are made from household cleaning items e.g. j-cloth as the skirt, washing up brush as the body, can't remember the rest - have any of you made them?

If any of you have anyone in the family that are cyclists, I have a link for free cycling tops that I found some weeks back on one of the freebie sites. My son who runs a cycling club has just filled in the form today (he was away on hols) and the offer still seems to be on - if any of you want me to post it.

I know - looks fun! :rotfl: I do it to wind his mother up ;) (my step sister). My Mum and her dad have been together for thirty years, but we've never been bosom buddies. Nephew had an ant farm off me last year.:D

    It's here (the snot clock).
