    Hello all :j
Another day of feeling hot and doing nothing in particular apart from putting a Caffiene Prayer in the holders I've done for cappacino sachets (well really just a card, cappacino stuck inside with glue dot and coffee prayer stuck on opposite page. Picture from some coffee art images I found, punch hole, tie with ribbon.....job done !) Just little pressies to add to boxes...........done similar with tea bags.
Wrote overdue letter to a friend of my mums.....and thats about it ! Oh dear...........I do sound like I have a dull life.....................lol:rotfl:

Nicky -super card.........just reminded me I must either re-do what I've done or make another one for one of the girls I used to look after............maybe tomorrow. Glue I've got was so cheap it hardly works !

Printed out recipes for foster daughters Index Box...........was going to try and do it alphabetically but can't see it working............suppose I could separate meat/veg/puddings and I've put some general tips in as well..............any other ideas ???

Another sad attempt at making a bag charm........ugghhh !! Don't you just hate it when things don't go right..........my own fault trying to do it on the cheap with my old beads...........lol:rotfl:

Moan over................plus side......hand made soap arrived from Freebie Board.........lovely.......make nice little extra gift, plus pack of Simple Spotless Skin wipes. :T
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Sorry giggles it was the very last one so the post has been deleted i expect.

It must have been a mis-price because they are £72.50 plus p+p on the site now. :j:T:j

ah ok. thanks anyway :D I check the grabbit board about 10 times a day but always miss the good ones hehe

    Hello all :j

Success ! Finished my bag charms (well nearly -just need the key rings and lobster clasps) They're not brilliant having been very mean (or is it frugal?) and used up whatever beads or stuff I could find........but they're done.........all 8 of them !! Have I got 8 female friends and family who would like them ? Oh well, can always turn one into a purse charm................lol:rotfl:

Really must get organised and sort out who's having what. Girl we used to look after has a birthday July 15th and I'll give her a button necklace and a key ring (she asked me to get her one from Eden Project)-lad we used to look after has a birthday a week after her.........more or less sorted for him and it's cost me nothing:T Just managed to find enough stuff around that I know he'll love.......sons in August is sorted, his girlfriends is not but I'm thinking about a pamper/chocolate theme for her maybe.

So, getting there.............now want to make some pot pourri or rose water -or something where I can use the endless rose petals off our climbing roses..........saved a few last night that fell off from the vase indoors and OH chucked them out this morning:eek: Said he was having a tidy up.............told him I wanted to keep them.........men !!!!
Need to make a shopping list of all the 'bits' I need to finish off stuff..........stick on letters for SOS boxes, clasps for bag charms, and I'm sure there;s loads of other bits........wrote it down somewhere and can't remember where..................lol
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Hi all

Mary I've got another idea for you re rose petals - add them to a tea/coffee themed gift set. I've just had some (freebie) teabags of black tea and rose petals - delicious.

As promised, here is a picture of the bracelet and earrings I made. I used some beads from a set I picked up at a charity shop for £2, I would estimate I used about 1/5 of the beads so the set cost me a grand total of 40p :)
