susan - oh what a relief that would be.............:j least I could get a couple finished off.
Tried website this afternoon -had just what I wanted, silver, antique type colour and gold-ish.........I register, they send me password I type it all in and nothing:eek: Page kept sending me back to register again:mad: In the end I phoned them-chappie typed in all my stuff and he got same as me. They're not taking orders today either so I was really miffed:( I can phone on Monday -they're taking orders then thank goodness.........:)
But if you've got some spare I'd be grateful.
Found a blog while I was looking for these clasps and the lady had done a bag charm with ribbons instead of beads (still needed the clasp though) looked really good I thought.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

BHS has a sale on kids Tammy Jewellery. I bought 12 pieces - bracelet sets (8 in a pack), earring sets (8 in a pack), necklaces and headbands. Total cost £6 but should have cost £51.50 (although I never would have bought them at that price).

Some are for DD2 as stocking fillers and some are for her school friends.

I had a lovely afternoon today. I managed to get some of my craft stuff out to make thankyou cards for teachers and TA's. They are a cross between an ordinary card and these. The verse reads - Thankyou for helping me 'grow'. Ahh bless.IMGP5779.JPG

Off Topic: I took the puppy to dog training last night. I've never been so embarrased in my life! He did eveything wrong (other than sit) and then proceeded to whoopsie in the middle of the room. It was the longest hour of my life. OH and DD were sat watching in hysterics. Having a puppy is harder work than the kids.

elysia - Oh I LOVE the verse for the thank you cards!! WIll make a note of that if you don't mind and use it for cards at Christmas for the child minders and my Mum from Bethan!!

Hope you're all doing well. New routine with being back at work is taking it out of me so not posting as much. Need to reassess my evening time and get back to doing some cross stitch I think....

    Hi all

Today I did some baking, bran fruit loaf and tried out a new Christmas recipe - Cranberry and apple cookies turned out very nice! I also plan to try out a simple stollen and pinwheel mincepies in the next few weeks.

Elysia I had a chuckle about your puppy.

Wow that is the bargain of the lifetime for the Tammy items,

Love the cards, they look super with the seeds in them, can I cheeky and borrow your idea - just incase my "freebie" set doesn't come.

Ah bless, just got visions and started laughing, re puppy training classes, dare we ask if your going back.

Don't think Bailey would do anything bar want to kiss the other dogs, then when he hashad enough he growls........ sure he has the male version of PMT.
He did a good turn yesterday, had a ambulance man in stitches, dad was out walking with him, by the ambulance station, and heard the sirens, so waited for the amulance to come out, Bailey just stood there, head up, tail up, and just fixed watching the ambulance, the bloke in the passenger seat was apparently creased up laughing.

    xx
