Don't know if you have ventured down to Street, (think its the next junction off M5), they have Clarks shopping village - outlet place - got good selection of shops, its not massive, about 80 shops, big Next, M+S, Body Shop, def worth a visit. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Morning Everyone
Glad to see your all getting organised and hope Elysia gets hers sorted out again as well. I keep my boxes on top of my wardrobes and have to climb up a ladder to reach them. Daughter's birthday is this coming weekend but have got hers out of the boxes ready to wrap up. Just waiting for the memory cards to come for the phone and camera so we can put them in before we wrap them. Also I ordered her the Twilight Journals off Amazon last week so they should come soon too. I had heard of them but didnt know what they were but had a leaflet from the Book People and it showed you in there that it is 4 journals with the Twilight book covers on them and the pages are decorated with things from the books and they come in a lovely tin so I am sure being 15 next week she will love them. Its about the time all girls like writing in journals. Also, she asked for a new pair of trainers and we were up the town yesterday and went in the local shoe shop and they had a pair that come up higher like a boot but not too high and they were black with pink bits on the front, were only £15 so got them for her.
The next birthday after that are my OH and my Grandaughter, they are both on the same day and its only two weeks after my daughters. I have OH's present already, just need to get him a card. Have Grandaughter's as well but will get her something to go with it, may be packet of sweets or something. Will need to climb up and get the presents down though.
Weather feels a bit cooler today thank goodness, been so hot over the last two days. Am hoping it is nice later in the week, I am going to see Will Young on Thursday with my eldest daughter and its an out door event so really hoping that the rain doesnt come to us that day (we are South East England).
Have a nice day every one xx0 -
You are organised Rufus. No birthdays for me until October (except my own) and then it will be all ago again as I have loads, Nov, Dec and Jan.

Hello all :j
Another day of enough heat to make me melt -90 degrees the weatherman said last night (goes to stick head in fridge !!)
elysia - super photos and what lovely earrings.
rufus - wish I was as organised as you...........I keep trying to be but it never seems to quite work out
All I've done today is make a little holder for the one bag charm I've managed to get done. Tried to make a card or something to wind button necklace round so it wouldn't get tangled but got in such a pickle..........its now back in the little box I'd got with a few other bits.
Managed to work out how I tied the ribbon round sons stamp holder so thats another job done.
Going to have a go at a flannel dog for lad who we used to look after......he's got a dog so it'll suit him and I've a gap in his box needs filling. Found grey flannel in the drawer brand new I forgot I'd got.
Rain forecast tonight and tomorrow - much needed on the gardens -and me !!!I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all!
Mary - I hope you've ot melted with the heat - I live near Manchester, so it hasn't got that hot around here - I'm so glad because I don't do heat either.
Anyway, for those of you who really want to get in the mood - Movies 24 on Sky have started showing Christmas movies!!! (not sure if it is just at the weekends though and I think it is just through July - sorry if I'm being a bit vague but I missed the full advert for it).
Not got anything done this week and this week coming is really busy with all the end of term activities, but I am pleased with what I have achieved so far - will catch up again soon!(and start on the challenges!)
Hope everyone is well.
